✨ Intsika Turns 10! ✨
What a special afternoon celebrating 10 years of God’s faithfulness and provision!

Yesterday was such a wonderful time of reflecting on all God has done, having fun, being encouraged by His Word, and enjoying lots of delicious cake and treats! 🎉

A BIG thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special, in big and small ways!

A special thank you to Figtree Spar for the generous donation of platters, Petals Florists for the flowers, Pastryworks for our delicious celebration cake, REACH Summerstrand Church Media Team for helping with our celebration video, and Emmanuel Church Lorraine for the use of the venue and your wonderful support.

We are so grateful for God’s goodness and faithfulness over the past 10 years. To God be all the glory! 🙋🏻‍♀️🙏🏻❤️

#5 – Raising Young Leaders

In this picture, we see some of the young leaders who have grown through Intsika and stepped up to serve and make a difference in the lives of others.

We are so thankful for the opportunity to invest in young people, give them opportunities to grow, serve and lead, and watch them become confident young leaders with a heart for their community. 🙏

A heartfelt thank you to Checkers Lorraine!!!🙏❤️

As part of Nelson Mandela Month, the incredible team at Checkers Lorraine blessed Intsika and the children of the Kuyga-Greenbushes community with an amazing donation of 50 blankets, educational toys, stationery, food items and more.

Last Friday, they also spent time with our children, serving warm soup and bread, oranges and cake, and bringing so much joy through their visit. 🥰

Thank you for your generosity, kindness and for making a real difference in the lives of the children we serve. We are so grateful!

What a beautiful afternoon of kindness! ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to The Herald and its readers, Rosebank College, Capsicum Culinary Studio, and Atlas Plant Hire for generously blessing the Kuyga community at our Intsika Centre in Greenbushes last Thursday as part of Nelson Mandela Month.

Together, you served delicious soup, fresh bread, and treat packs to our community, while also donating books, stationery, and non-perishable food for families in need. Young and old were blessed, with between 150 and 200 bowls of soup served! 🍛

Thank you for showing that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference. As Jesus said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." (Acts 20:35)

We are so grateful for your generosity, compassion, and love for our community. Thank you! 🙏🙋🏻‍♀️

What a special week! 🎉🤗 Over 60 children from Kuyga attended Holiday Club at Emmanuel Church in Lorraine this week.

They had lots of fun with games, crafts, songs and drama — but most importantly, they learned about Jesus as our King and Saviour! 👑✨

We’re also so proud of our Intsika help leaders who served so well throughout the week, stepping out of their comfort zones to help with drama, small groups, games, cleaning and wherever else they were needed. 🙌

So thankful for a week full of joy, growth and the opportunity to share the good news of Jesus with so many children. ❤️

🎉 As we continue celebrating 10 years of God's faithfulness, we're so thankful for another special part of the journey…

#4 – Growing in Faith ✝️❤️

This picture reminds us of the joy of learning about God's love together. We are so thankful for every Bible lesson, every question asked, every song sung, and every seed of faith planted in young hearts.

It is a privilege to walk alongside these children as they grow in faith, hope, and love. We trust that God will continue the good work He has begun in each of their lives. 🤗

A BIG thank you to H***n Masterfence for building our new vibracrete wall and for generously giving us a discount on the additional barbed wire around the property! 🤗🙏🎉

After experiencing repeated trespassing and fence cutting, these improvements have helped make our property in Greenbushes much more secure. We are grateful for your support and partnership in helping us create a safer space for our community.🙋🏻‍♀️

What a comfort to know that Jesus is our Good Shepherd during these days of heavy rain in the Eastern Cape! 🐑❤️

As we were reminded recently at our Friday Kids Group in Kuyga, Jesus knows, loves, and cares deeply for His sheep.

Praying for everyone affected by the heavy rains and flooding. 🙏🌧😟
