Our Junior Help Leaders enjoyed a fun Heritage Month outing yesterday, exploring some of Gqeberha’s special heritage sights! 🌍📚

From Bayworld and the Campanile to Donkin Reserve, Fort Frederick and St George’s Park — it was a day of learning, exploring and making memories together.

And the definite highlight? Holding a snake at Bayworld! 🐍😄

What a special day discovering more of the city we call home!

#6 – Community

We’re so thankful for the mums and grannies of Kuyga, Greenbushes who care, serve and lead by example - generously giving of themselves to make a difference in the lives of others. 🙏

We’re grateful for the strength, love and sense of community they bring to the Intsika family. ❤️

Our Intsika Project Manager, Laura, is in Umhlanga this week, joining the Emmanuel Ministry Team at the annual REACH SA Synod. 🙏

The week started with the Generate Conference on Monday & Tuesday, followed by Synod from Tuesday to Thursday. Grateful for this time of worship, fellowship, learning and looking ahead together!

Always lots of fun when Pastor Dion from REACH Summerstrand Church visits our Intsika Friday Kids group! 😄🙌

We’re learning all about the Armour of God, and yesterday we looked at the shoes 👟—reminding us to always be ready to share the Good News with others! ✝️

✨ Intsika Turns 10! ✨
What a special afternoon celebrating 10 years of God’s faithfulness and provision!

Yesterday was such a wonderful time of reflecting on all God has done, having fun, being encouraged by His Word, and enjoying lots of delicious cake and treats! 🎉

A BIG thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special, in big and small ways!

A special thank you to Figtree Spar for the generous donation of platters, Petals Florists for the flowers, Pastryworks for our delicious celebration cake, REACH Summerstrand Church Media Team for helping with our celebration video, and Emmanuel Church Lorraine for the use of the venue and your wonderful support.

We are so grateful for God’s goodness and faithfulness over the past 10 years. To God be all the glory! 🙋🏻‍♀️🙏🏻❤️

#5 – Raising Young Leaders

In this picture, we see some of the young leaders who have grown through Intsika and stepped up to serve and make a difference in the lives of others.

We are so thankful for the opportunity to invest in young people, give them opportunities to grow, serve and lead, and watch them become confident young leaders with a heart for their community. 🙏

A heartfelt thank you to Checkers Lorraine!!!🙏❤️

As part of Nelson Mandela Month, the incredible team at Checkers Lorraine blessed Intsika and the children of the Kuyga-Greenbushes community with an amazing donation of 50 blankets, educational toys, stationery, food items and more.

Last Friday, they also spent time with our children, serving warm soup and bread, oranges and cake, and bringing so much joy through their visit. 🥰

Thank you for your generosity, kindness and for making a real difference in the lives of the children we serve. We are so grateful!
