Maranatha MST

Maranatha Streetworkers Trust (IT 814/2002) is a registered NPO (No: 012-046) that has been operation since 2002.

• Maranatha Adult Care is a centre for 45 adults and families who we accommodate, provide all meals to and involve in therapeutic and developmental programmes. They are all placed in one of the work teams at our Maranatha Projects as resident volunteers. The aim is to restore dignity

and provide future work opportunities by developing work skills.
• We have seen adults from this project able to find accommodation and employment outside of the centre and be in a position to re-build their lives.
• The projects that we have in operation as part of our "farm" area include -
o A Piggery in operation as an income-generating project to help raise funds for the organisation at large and to up-skill adults in this area. We have the services of a trained butcher and can also provide organic meat produce of high quality at our facility
o Aquaponics food production (including fish) where our produce is sold to local retailers and from our premises. This links to our vegetable tunnels and nursery
o Recently we have started with a quail project (that is now extending to chickens) with organic produce available for sale. We have acquired a bee hive where four young people have been able to attend basic bee keeping training.
