Dear Friends And Family,

It has been very difficult to write this post and that is why it has taken so long. Within a space of 10 months we as a mission and family lost both our parents and directors of Signs and Wonders Mission.

We Honor Our Co-Founder and Director Clive Davids for his hard work and dedication to the mission and the work of the Lord. We salute you good and faithful servant, you earned the rest.

We honor Our Co-founder and mother of the mission, Marilyn G Davids for you love and dedication to the mission and the children. We Salute you good and faithful servant, you earned your rest.

As the SWM family, we would like to honor the mother and father of the mission with what they did really well: A Christmas Party for the children. This will be held tomorrow, 22 December 2021, in Extension 32, Cnr of Neriwe and Galtonia street.

As a mission, we would like to invite you all to come and join us as we honor their memory one last time.

Dear Friends and Family of SWM,

The Recreational Centre is coming along really wonderfully.

At the moment our biggest task is the roof and fencing. For the roof, we are in need of roof sheets (second hand ones more than welcome). For the fencing, we are in need of Poles and fencing or wiring.

We are also in need of Rafters, 3 ply boards and a double door.

Dear friends and family of SWM,

We are extremely excited to bring you an update on the Marilyn Davids Multipurpose Rec Centre. As you can see in the photo, the structure is being erected 😁.

The project is progressing at a wonderful pace and this is all due to your generosity. We are truly grateful to all of you. We are, of course, no where near complete and there are quite a few things that we are still in need of to help us fully erect the Centre.

We currently still need: roof sheets, rafters, cement and grid for the floor/foundation, ply boards, fencing, ranching poles, a double door, a sign board and varnish paint. We know this list is quite a lot, but we are confident that God who started this plan/project with us, is faithful and able to complete it.

As always, any financial contribution towards our endeavors will be highly appreciated and is most certainly welcome.

Dear Friends and Family of SWM,

For years we have tried to obtain a plot to start our Multipurpose Recreational Centre. We are proud to announce that Signs and Wonders Mission has successfully obtained a plot on which we will build The Marilyn Davids Multipurpose Centre!

The centre will focus on skills development and practical assistance by way of counselling on HIV/Aids related issues, marital problems, and skills counselling to help strengthen and rebuild a dying community. With the recreational centre we seek to unite young and old and foster positive relationships that will see the community revived and rebuilt to a safe environment for young and old alike.

We plan on using the recreational centre as a place where the children can come do homework after school, receive something to eat whilst receiving help with their schoolwork as we have some dedicated retired and active schoolteachers prepared to assist. The centre will offer young people the opportunity to acquire some skills that they can use to better their lives and find quality jobs. Adults will have a centre whereby they can acquire a craft or skill that will enable them to fend for themselves and their families.

Our aim is to launch the Centre on the 9th of August, Women's Day. We still have a long way to go with little time to do so and would like to make a call on you, our faithful friends and family to assist us in any way possible.

We currently need, building material (mainly wood, side panels, cement) any voluntary workers who is able to come and assist us in the building process would be deeply appreciated.

An Emotional Christmas party for the Mission as we bid farewell to our mother, partner, board member and co-founder of Signs & Wonders Mission . Gone but not forgotten.

Signs and Wonders Mission lovingly remember the mother of our organisation, Marilyn G Davids, who sadly passed away suddenly on Tuesday, 1st December 2020.

We honour het memory and fondly remember her love, care and dedication to the work of the Lord and to SWM.

Your place will dearly be missed.
