The White Rose Leadership Institute Board of Directors challenged you—and you answered!

We are thrilled to share that 17 organizations stepped up to the plate with 100% board participation, with every board member making a minimum gift of $5.00. That level of commitment speaks volumes about leadership in action across our community.

Our Board of Directors is especially excited to congratulate the York Suburban Education Foundation for being randomly selected to receive the $1,250 prize!

Another fun twist during Give Local York 2026 was all thanks to The York Water Company and the $4,000 in prizes they gave away throughout the day! 💧

This special prize opportunity created a true ripple effect of generosity across our community. Nonprofits participating in GLY Live! — virtually, through Give Day on the Go, and in-studio at Keystone Kidspace — all had the chance to punch through the board for a surprise prize amount.

In celebration of The York Water Company’s incredible 210 years serving York County, four organizations walked away with special $210 prizes!

Congratulations to our grand prize winners:
💛York Literacy Institute
💛Human Life Services
💛Stewartstown Food Pantry at SUMC
💛York Habitat for Humanity

While every participating organization received something, these four nonprofits made the biggest splash with the grand prizes. Congratulations to all of our winners! 🌊

From small ripples to big waves, every draw helped amplify the impact of the amazing work happening across York County each and every day.

And of course, we had to celebrate the only way fitting for the occasion — with a toast of refreshing York Water Company water at the end! 💛

We’re excited to announce the organizations who received a matching donation from First Capital Federal Credit Union during Give Local York 2026! 🎉

Thanks to the generosity and commitment of First Capital Federal Credit Union, participating Preferred Business Partners had an even greater opportunity to maximize their impact during Give Local York. During the 7 AM hour, eligible nonprofits received matching donations up to $500 until the matching pool was depleted.
