Having a loved one with substance use disorder weighs heavy on the heart. Yet every week in York County, our first responders protect our family members by providing life saving medical attention. Thanks to the leadership within the York Opioid Collaborative, Collective Response Initiative York, and Life Changing Pathways, thank-you cards are being delivered to every single law enforcement agency, EMS, and fire department location in the county.

If it wasn't for the swift thinking and training of our first responders, we would have lost a lot more lives to substance use. The community as a whole, and especially the recovery community, thanks you!

Join us as we honor and remember the brave first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to York County.

The First Responder Remembrance Event is a time to come together in gratitude, reflection, and support for the families, friends, and colleagues of those we have lost.

We invite community members and public safety personnel to stand with us as we pay tribute to their courage and dedication.
