🎓 Join Us in Celebrating Tony Cordell's Graduation! 🎓

At the Jeremiah Tree, we believe every milestone is worth celebrating, and this one is especially meaningful. Through hard work, perseverance, faith, and a commitment to personal growth, Tony Cordell has successfully completed his journey and reached graduation day!

We invite our friends, supporters, church family, and community members to come celebrate this special achievement with us. Dinner will be served, featuring one of Tony's favorite meals—Chicken Alfredo! 🍝

Tony's story is a reminder that with God's help, lives can be transformed and new chapters can begin. We are incredibly proud of the man he has become and excited to honor all that the Lord has done in his life.

One of the greatest blessings of ministry is seeing the impact that simple acts of service can have on people. We recently received this note, and we wanted to share it because it is a wonderful reminder of why we do what we do:

"On behalf of my mom, I just want to take a moment to thank Jeremiah Tree for the incredible work they are doing in our community. This past weekend, a few of the guys came out to help my mom on her birthday by putting up a huge canopy because she was unable to do it herself.

You guys gave up nearly two days of your time, worked hard in the heat, and showed up with smiles, encouragement, and servant hearts every step of the way. Not once did it feel like you were there because you had to be, you were there because you genuinely wanted to serve.

Thank you guys for sacrificing your time, your energy, and your comfort to bless my mom in such a special way. This birthday gift will be enjoyed for years to come.

We are incredibly thankful for each of you and for the way you allow God to use your lives to make a difference in the lives of others. We are truly blessed by your ministry!

Thanks Tony, Greg, Joe and Matt!!

— Jennifer Landefeld"

We are grateful for Jennifer's kind words, but more importantly, we are thankful for men who are learning what it means to serve others. At The Jeremiah Tree, recovery is about far more than sobriety, it is about learning to love God and love people. Watching our guys give their time and effort to help someone else is a reminder that God is still changing lives.

Thank you, Jennifer, for allowing us to be a small part of your mom's special day. We pray that canopy provides many years of memories, laughter, and fellowship.

"Even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister..." — Mark 10:45

A few weeks ago our lawn mower went in for service. We explained to the grass that we would be without a mower for a week or so… but it just kept growing anyway!

In true Gary Stidham fashion, our Jeremiah Tree Board President stepped up, volunteered to mow the property, and did an outstanding job.

Gary is not the kind of leader who monitors things from the sidelines. He gets involved, gets his hands dirty, and goes to work right alongside everyone else. We appreciate Gary’s wisdom, steady leadership, and God-honoring judgment as Board President, but we especially appreciate that he is always willing to jump in and help with whatever task is in front of us.

Thank you, Gary, for being the kind of servant leader that leads by example. We are blessed to serve alongside you!

The mower is back up and running now… but the guys and Brother Kenny are already trying to think of ways to “accidentally” break it again. Gary just did too good of a job!

Mother’s Day is a special reminder to honor the women who have prayed for us, loved us, corrected us, encouraged us, and stood beside us through every season of life. Mothers carry burdens nobody else sees, and so many times they do it quietly, faithfully, and without recognition. Today we thank God for our mothers, our grannies, our spiritual mothers, and all the ladies who have poured themselves into others with the love of Christ.

This afternoon some of our Jeremiah Tree guys, especially Joe Burkhardt, spent part of Mother’s Day setting a new mailbox post for one of God’s most treasured mothers, Sister Dana from the General Baptist House of Prayer. Sister Dana stays involved in just about every aspect of church life. She serves faithfully, works tirelessly, and somehow still finds enough energy to keep Brother Kenny in line and make sure his messes do not get too far out of control!

We all love Sister Dana dearly, and we were thrilled to be able to help her out in a small way today. Sometimes ministry looks like preaching sermons, and sometimes it looks like digging post holes and setting a mailbox for someone you love. Both matter.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mothers out there. Thank you for all you do.

There’s one night every week the men of The Jeremiah Tree know to come hungry, because Brother Kenny is cooking!

At least once a week, we gather around the table for more than just a meal. It’s fellowship, laughter, discipleship, and family. Tonight’s menu was chicken parmesan with homemade sauce, and let me tell you… nobody left the table hungry!

There’s something special about breaking bread together. Some of the best conversations, encouragement, and life change happen around that dinner table.

And here’s the exciting part, we’re going to be announcing soon how YOU can be part of that fellowship too.

Stay tuned… because when lives change, communities transform.

🙌 What a God We Serve! 🙌

We are overflowing with gratitude and praise today! Because of the incredible outpouring of support from the people of God, we didn’t just meet our goal....we CRUSHED IT!

We give all glory to the Lord for His perfect provision and timing. We also want to sincerely thank each and every one of you who prayed for this need, shared our post, and gave so generously. Your faithfulness and obedience were used by God in a powerful way.

This was a beautiful reminder that when God’s people come together, needs are met and His work moves forward. We are truly humbled and encouraged by the love shown to this ministry and to the men we serve.

We’ll continue to keep everyone updated as the work is completed, but for now, thank you again for standing with us, believing with us, and supporting this mission.

Praise the Lord! What a blessing you all are! ❤️🙏

🚨 Urgent Need at the HomePlace 🚨
We’re facing an unexpected heating issue at the HomePlace farm. Our boiler system is down while we wait on parts and a required safety inspection of our propane system.

Here’s the most important thing first: our men are safe and warm.
Temporary housing with heat is in place, the repair labor has been volunteered, and space heaters are strategically positioned to protect the property and prevent frozen pipes.

The total cost to resolve this is about $2,000.
We prayed specifically over this need—and God answered quickly. 🙏

Forest Valley Free Will Baptist Church stepped up in faith and gave $1,000, meeting half the need immediately.
Now we’re asking the people of God across the Miami Valley to help us finish strong.

If everyone gives a little, $25, $50, $100, we can quickly raise the remaining $1,000 and keep the HomePlace protected while repairs are completed.

This isn’t just a building, it’s a place where lives are being restored and the Gospel is lived out daily.

Would you prayerfully consider giving today?

Thank you for standing with us, praying with us, and being part of how God provides through His people. ❤️

🎄 Christmas at URS | A Day We’ll Never Forget 🎄

This week, the guys from The Jeremiah Tree had the incredible honor of bringing Christmas joy to the residents of United Rehabilitation Services of Greater Dayton. We were able to share the blessing of Christmas with 80 adults with intellectual disabilities, and their joy was absolutely contagious. Their smiles, laughter, and excitement reminded all of us what this season is truly about.

What made this day even more special was watching our guys give back. They did the shopping, baked the cookies, and poured their hearts into serving others. Brother Kenny made lunch, and we are incredibly thankful for Greg Agee, who led this entire event with such care and excellence.

🎁 We are deeply thankful for our generous donors and the General Baptist House of Prayer, whose support made this day possible.

And yes… 🎅 Santa even stopped by to help spread the cheer!

This day blessed the residents at URS—but it also truly blessed us. God showed up in a big way, and we are so grateful to be part of a community where love, service, and joy are shared so freely.
