Today we were honored to hear the words of President Eric Nelson from Athletes in Action and a couple of his associates about the 60th anniversary of the organization and how sports can open doors to share the Gospel with others. We also got to share some funding from our grant fund with Xenia Community Schools for the high school's upcoming TSA Nationals in Washington DC ($500), as well as with Greene County Public Health for their annual WIC Community Baby Shower in August ($1,000). What a great day to be a Xenia Rotarian!!

It was a busy day for the Xenia Rotary Club! We were honored to provide funding for the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce upcoming golf outing. Pictured is Donna Saraga, Chamber Director, with Rotary President Eric M. Anderson.

We also welcomed in two new members, father and daughter duo, Jeremy Hutchison and Jackie Almanza, both of HB Electric & Construction. Both are pictured with a few members of the club and the Club President.

Finally, we met "Betty the Bed Bug" through our featured guest, Trent Oliver, with Premier Pest Control. Who knew that water bugs are actually Oriental Cockroaches?! Now you know!!

We were honored to host Coach Andy Lewis with the Xenia High School Wrestling program as our presenter today. His son, Kaine, is an 8th grader at Warner Middle School, and is the Middle School State Champion. It was so great to hear how far the wrestling program has come and the great things these young athletes are doing!
