From Rotary International ☮️

Peace begins with people—and Rotary is committed to building a more peaceful world, one community at a time.

On September 21, International Day of Peace, Rotary joins people around the world in promoting friendship, understanding, conflict prevention, and peacebuilding.

Across our communities, Rotary clubs are putting peace into action by:
☑Planting Peace Poles
☑Bringing people together
☑Launching community service projects
☑Creating opportunities for dialogue and understanding

Peace isn't simply the absence of conflict. It's the presence of understanding, compassion, and a commitment to making our communities better places for everyone. ❤️

This International Day of Peace, let's remember that every act of kindness, every conversation that builds understanding, and every project that brings people together can help create a more peaceful world.

Peace starts with us. ☮️

🎓 Rotary Speaker Spotlight

Today we welcomed Dana Matt, PTA Professor at Clark State College, who shared more about Clark State’s Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program, now offered at the Xenia campus!

Dana gave us a great look at the program, the opportunities it provides for students, and how Clark State is helping prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals right here in our community.

A special thank you to fellow Rotarian Natalie Johnson, Associate Dean of Regional Locations at Clark State College, for arranging today’s speaker.

Thank you, Dana, for joining us and educating our club! 💙💛

✨💖 9 to 5… and dreaming BIG! 💖✨

September 25 is now Dolly Parton Day in Ohio, thanks to Governor Mike DeWine! 🎀📚 Let’s celebrate Dolly’s love of children, books, and BIG dreams by supporting the Dolly Parton Imagination Library right here in Greene County!

📚 Your donation helps put free, high-quality books into the hands of local children, one book per month, from birth to age 5—helping spark a lifelong love of reading and imagination. 🌟

Want to help make a difference? Donate through the Greene County Public Library or the Xenia Rotary Club.

Let’s turn a little kindness into BIG dreams for Greene County kids! 💕📖✨
