The Air Force Marathon is just around the corner!
Make plans to cheer on the runners at the Fairborn Fly Zone on Saturday, September 19, from 8:00 a.m. to Noon in Historic Downtown Fairborn!
The Fairborn Fly Zone is one of the best places to watch Air Force Marathon participants as they make their way down Main Street and through the historic home district. Enjoy a fun-filled morning with free shuttles from the start to the finish line, food, music, and family-friendly activities.

We’re proud to support Graceworks Lutheran Services with a $1,000 Greene Giving Small Grant!

This grant will help Graceworks purchase a dedicated chair lift for one of its group homes in Greene County. Previously, when the lift would not work, Graceworks had to rent a lift from Kettering. While this provided a temporary solution, the process was not ideal for the individuals living in the home and made their day-to-day routines more difficult.

With this grant, the home will have a lift of its own available whenever it’s needed, right where it’s needed. This investment will provide greater reliability, independence, and peace of mind for the people who call the home theirs.

We’re so happy to help Graceworks Lutheran Services fill this gap and continue the important work they do to serve our community and its members every day.

This new affiliate fund gives community members an easy way to support the New Jasper Township Volunteer Fire Department and the firefighters who dedicate their time to protecting our community. Donations will support equipment, training, fire prevention, facilities, and other needs that enable our local firefighters to continue providing vital emergency services.

Greene Giving is proud to help GTC Shooting Sports start the season off right!

Through a Greene Giving Small Grant, GTC Shooting Sports was able to purchase ammunition, eye protection, and ear protection for the upcoming season. These resources will help provide students with the equipment they need to practice and compete safely.

GTC Shooting Sports and Greeneview High School Trap Club coaches recently attended the high school open house, connecting with students and parents interested in joining. Registration is now open, and required safety training is underway!

With the season starting in early September, the team is getting prepared with ammunition and supplies. We’re excited to see another great season ahead!
