Welcome - 5 more Irish pups!

On Wednesday we welcome 1 Irish lass and 4 Irish lads to GPI. Three of the lads are brothers - Archie, Bunty and Jasper! We also welcomed Gale and Caesar!

We are letting them settle in and then next week we will cat test, photograph and get to know them! They should be available for adoption about July 1st.

Thank you to everyone who helped them get to us, helped with the arrival, and will help them with all the steps involved in getting them into their new homes!

It's Greyhound Walk weekend!! Details below!

On Saturday, we have a walk scheduled at Spanish Banks in Vancouver BC. On Sunday, there's the North End Greyhound Walk in Everett. Details for both events can be found below.

We park at Spanish Banks East Parking, (just past/west of Spanish Banks East Concession) and walk west, turning around at the Spanish Banks off leash dog area. There is lots of pay parking and washrooms (for the silly humans) etc. Please feel free to join us.

We meet in the parking lot opposite the navy base truck entrance. Turn off Marine view drive at 18th street, and where the road divides, keep right, go over the speed bump, and turn into the next parking lot on the right.

June 15, 2026 - You may recognize one of today's adopters as a former GPI kennel tech! She came to us looking for a hound that could get along with their two cats like their previous greyhound Oro did. We recently welcomed a 4-year-old girl from Ireland who we thought was a promising candidate, and they quickly came in to meet her. And when they brought her home, she did great with the kitties and started settling right in. So, they're making it official - congratulations to Tommy, now known as Mango, and her new family! - Mike Forrest
