THIS IS INTI. ☀️

Yes, you’ll see boxing. 🥊
Yes, you’ll see training. 💪🏽
But we are so much more than that.

INTI is a nonprofit built for EVERYONE.

For the newcomer who’s never put on a pair of gloves.
For the person looking to grow stronger and challenge themselves.
For someone searching for community, connection, guidance, and a place where they feel like they belong.

Because sometimes, what you need isn’t just a workout. Sometimes you need people in your corner. 🤍

No matter where you’re starting from, there’s a place for you here.

So tell us — what are YOU looking for in a community like INTI? 👇🏽

Hey all,
I’ve been a very busy person over the last few months, and I’m finally ready to share something that means a great deal to me.
I recently made a lifelong dream of mine come true by founding The Inti Project, and I now have the privilege of serving as its Founder and Executive Director.
The Inti Project is officially a federally recognized 501(c)(3) public charity.
If you've known me for a while, you know this didn’t start when we created a nonprofit. For more than six years, much of this work has taken place in my garage gym in Woodinville, Washington, and before that, community centers, YMCAs, and even out of my buddy's gym. What started as a small space where young people could come to train, talk, be mentored, and feel supported has grown well beyond those garage walls.
Today, The Inti Project already has a small cohort of young people participating, several coaches involved in the work, and an incredible Board of Directors with backgrounds that include psychology, therapy, social work, recovery, youth development, education, and community service.
Woodinville is our home and where we hope to establish a dedicated program space, but the young people and families connected to this work come from Woodinville and surrounding communities.
Now we are ready for the next chapter—and I’m asking my friends, family, colleagues, and community to help us build it.
One of the most important parts of our vision is this:
We want The Inti Project to remain completely free for the youth who participate.
Our goal is that a young person never has to decide whether they can participate because their family cannot afford the cost. Donations and community support will help cover the things that make the program possible—coaching and mentorship, equipment, boxing gloves and protective gear, program supplies, facility and space costs, training, wellness activities, and expanded programming.
We want youth to be able to walk through our doors, participate fully, use the equipment they need, receive quality coaching and mentorship, and experience everything The Inti Project has to offer **without their family receiving a bill.**
That is a major reason why community support matters so much.
Yes, boxing is part of The Inti Project.
Yes, mentorship and mental wellness are at the heart of our work.
But The Inti Project is so much more than a boxing program.
The bigger vision is to create a place where young people can come together, feel like they belong, build confidence, develop healthy relationships, discover their strengths, learn new skills, and have trusted adults who consistently show up for them.
As we grow, we hope to expand into opportunities such as mindfulness and meditation, yoga, art projects, music, gardening, community service, leadership development, family activities, and community events, in addition to boxing, fitness, mentorship, and mental wellness.
Not every young person discovers confidence, purpose, or belonging in the same way.
One young person may find it through boxing.
Another may find it through art or music.
Another through gardening, meditation, community service, leadership, or simply walking into a place where people know their name, care about how they are doing, and believe in their potential.
That is what I want The Inti Project to become.
Our philosophy is simple:
No One Thrives Alone.
One of our biggest needs right now is finding a dedicated space for The Inti Project.
Our vision is to eventually have a home where young people and families can participate in fitness, mentorship, wellness, creative programming, leadership development, family activities, and community events under one roof.
A dedicated space would allow us to grow beyond what has been possible in a garage gym while still keeping the same relationship-based, community-centered approach that has defined this work from the beginning.
So, specifically, here is how you can help us right now:
🥊 Donate — Your contribution helps us keep programming free for youth by supporting equipment, protective gear, supplies, coaching and mentoring, program activities, and facility costs.
🏠 Help us find a home — If you know someone who owns or manages a building, gym, community facility, school space, church space, or other property that could potentially be donated, shared, sponsored, or leased affordably, please connect us.
🤝 Connect us — If you work for a business, foundation, nonprofit, school, government agency, or organization that might want to partner with or financially support this work, I would love an introduction.
💼 Check your employer matching program — Many employers will match charitable contributions made by their employees, which can double the impact of a gift.
🎨 Share your talents or ideas — Maybe you have experience with art, music, yoga, gardening, mindfulness, fitness, coaching, mentoring, fundraising, grant writing, business, or something we haven’t even thought of yet. I want to hear from you.
📣 Share this post — Sometimes the most important connection is one person away.
And if all you can contribute right now is an idea, a connection, encouragement, or helping us spread the word, that matters too.
Because The Inti Project is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) public charity, donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Individuals, families, businesses, and organizations contributing **$5,000 or more** may also, with their permission, be recognized as an "Official Supporter of The Inti Project" on our website and selected program materials.
You can learn more about our mission, programs, leadership, and what we are building—and make a donation—at:
www.intiproject.org
For anyone considering a larger contribution who would prefer to avoid the processing fees associated with our online donation platform, please contact me directly. I can provide secure instructions for making a contribution directly to The Inti Project’s nonprofit bank account.
I’m incredibly proud of the work that has already been done, but I’m even more excited about what this can become.
This started in a garage.
Now it has the potential to become something much bigger.
And we need our community to help us build what comes next—and make sure that cost is never the reason a young person cannot participate.
☀️🥊 The Inti Project
Belong. Grow. Lead. Give Back.
