WHS Music Boosters

You may have noticed the band using a sousaphone during their performance at the recent Pops concert. Sousaphones are typically seen in marching band, not concert bands!

The WHS Music Department is in need of a new tuba and you can help! Boosters are running a fundraiser to help cover the cost - you can donate using the QR code on the flyer attached flyer. We also take checks (made out to WHS Music Boosters) which can be sent to PO Box 524 Woodinville.

Please join us for our final meeting of the 2025-2026 school year, Tuesday June 2nd at 6pm in the library.

We will be voting in the new board for next year and nominating a Budget Committee. Hope to see you there!

Congratulations to the teachers and students on an amazing 2026 Pops Concert!

It was wonderful to see the hard work everyone has put in throughout the year come together last night. And that last piece was 🔥 🔥 🔥 😍

Applications for the WHS Music Boosters Senior Scholarship close on Sunday at 11:59pm!

We encourage all seniors in the WHS Music department to apply!

If you know a senior please remind them to get their application in ASAP. The Scholarship Committee will be reviewing applications next week and scholarships will be awarded at the Pops concert.

The Jazz Band’s Swing Dance last month was a huge success! Families, students, and community members had a great time learning some swing dance moves and then showing them off while the band played!

Thank you to everyone that was able to donate time or items to make this event a success. We really couldn’t do it without all of you ❤️

Recently the WHS Music Department was fortunate enough to receive a much needed, new-to-us, drum kit via the Northshore Schools Foundation instrument refurbishment program.

This program takes donations of gently used instruments that can be refurbished, and provides them to Northshore students.

We are grateful for the Foundation’s generous donation!

Woodinville High School’s Jazz Band is performing at this event, benefiting the Foundation’s Instrument Refurbishment program:

The Northshore Schools Foundation is thrilled to extend an invitation to you for an evening of very special entertainment!

Four Northshore schools are putting on a benefit concert to celebrate music education.

Date: Monday, May 11th
Time: 6:30-8:00 PM
Attendance: FREE (if you can't attend, please consider giving a donation. Donate - Northshore Schools Foundation)

Donations Benefit: Northshore Schools Foundation's Instrument Refurbishment Program

This 15-year-old program takes used instruments and has them lovingly restored. Thanks to founder, Patsy Treece, the program has placed 150- 200 "like new" instruments in the hands of Northshore's student musicians. With an average of $200/instrument the foundation has gifted close to $40,000 and we are not finished yet! There are instruments in the pipeline ready to be rehabilitated, and we need your help get them ready.

We are still looking for people who might be interested in taking on a Board position next year! We specifically need at least a President and Treasurer.

If the Music Boosters can’t get officers for these positions we are in danger of losing all our current funds to ASB, which may limit what they can be used for.
