The 2026 Summer Slam Tournament took place August 28–30 in Vancouver and Portland, bringing teams together for one final weekend of competition before fall leagues begin.

NSC’s GU13 Storm had a fantastic stay‑away weekend in Portland. Led by Head Coach Tom Esch and Assistant Coaches Nichole and Nick Sams, the team earned their first championship with 18 goals scored and only 3 allowed across four games. A dominant performance from start to finish.

The NSC Vipers BU14A traveled to Vancouver and Portland for the Summer Slam Tournament held August 28–30, 2026, led by Coach Doug Eickhoff and Assistant Coaches Chris Marsh and Scott Leslie.

Qualifying for the Final Championship Game was an exciting reward for the Vipers hard work throughout the weekend. The boys showed strength on defense and battled from start to finish. They ultimately finished as Finalists with a close 1–0 result, leaving the weekend proud of their performance and ready for the next challenge.

Congratulations to the NSC G14A Elite team on winning the Summer Slam Gold Division Championship.

The girls showcased outstanding teamwork, resilience, skill and determination all weekend, allowing just one goal in four matches and finishing with a thrilling championship victory in OT PKs. From elite defensive play to clutch moments in the finals, this group proved what can be accomplished when players compete for each other and never give up.

We are proud of this team’s hard work, sportsmanship and championship mindset. 💙⚽🥇

NSC BU16 Aces — Eastside FC Cup Champions!

After a group stage full of nailbiters, our BU16 Aces were undefeated with two ties, one win, but still needed a miracle to reach the final.

They got one. A team that hadn't scored a single goal all tournament found the net in the final minute to tie their match, opening the door for the Aces.

Then, in the final, the boys took control from the opening whistle. Facing an undefeated Seattle United BU16 Copa, the same team they had battled to a 2-2 draw just one day earlier, the Aces played with creativity and bravery, defended relentlessly, and were backed by outstanding goalkeeping to secure a decisive 4-0 victory.

Eastside FC Cup champions. What a fun way to end the summer!

A huge congratulations to NSC GU11A for their incredible performance at the 2026 Xtreme Cup, held August 14 through August 16.

The girls battled through two back‑to‑back early‑morning doubleheaders, intense heat and tough competition, and came out on top as Xtreme Cup Champions.

Their hard work, determination and resilience were on full display all weekend. The entire team and coaching staff should be proud of this strong finish.

GU11A Skagit Firecracker 2026

A late but well‑deserved shoutout to NSC GU11A for their fantastic run at the 2026 Skagit Firecracker Tournament, held June 26 through June 28. The event brought elite level premier youth soccer to one of the most beautiful venues in Washington. Skagit River Park features more than 25 riverfront grass fields in a park‑like setting, creating an unforgettable backdrop for competition.

Playing their first summer tournament with no substitutes, the girls battled their way to the finals and finished as GU11 Runner‑Up. Their grit, teamwork and heart were on full display all weekend.

So proud of this group and everything they accomplished!

What a weekend for the NSC GU13 A Elite girls, who delivered an outstanding start to their season at their first tournament of the year. They finished with a strong 4–1 record and outscored their opponents by an impressive 23–1 margin.

Although they came up short in the championship match against a rock‑solid SOZO team from Yakima, the performance, effort and growth on display were something to be proud of. Hats off to the players and coaches for showing up, competing with heart and earning a well‑deserved second place finish.

This is just the beginning of an exciting season ahead. Let’s go.

Great weekend of soccer for NSC BU9A at the River Jam Challenge in Puyallup. The boys played hard across every inch of the field over three days against strong regional competition. While they missed out on the final, the growth and grit on display were incredible to watch.

Big shout out to the coaches and to all the families for the amazing sideline support.
