Our local Kappa Omicron chapter of Delta Theta Tau Sorority, Inc. has been hosting the Roxana Junior High 8th Grade Graduation Dance for the past 60 years…Yes, 60 years!!❤️

Last night was one of our best…with a great group of students! We ALL had a fun “tropical night” 🏝️ And the DJ was engaging, making it even more fun for everyone!🎵🎼🎶

CONGRATULATIONS, Roxana Jr. High School Class of 2024! 👩‍🎓🎉

Kappa Omicron, Wood River chapter of Delta Theta Tau Sorority, Inc., will again be awarding several college scholarships this Spring to local high school seniors.

The chapter’s 2022-23 scholarship fund has grown with recent profits from their 7th year of selling candied pecans.

Sales were good this season and it gives the chapter an opportunity to fund the scholarships for students that wish to further their education at a college, university or trade school. The chapter sends out a big thank you to the community for their continued support.

Delta Theta Tau is a non-profit women’s philanthropic sorority founded in 1903 with 72 chapters throughout the United States.

Kappa Omicron hosted our annual fundraiser Friday night — Roxana 8th Grade Graduation Dance. A great class! They were dancing all night!! ❤️ We have been doing this dance for our Roxana 8th graders for over 50 years! This year was one of the best!!!

Kappa Omicron, Wood River, IL just completed a very succesful fundraiser!

Thanks to the hard work by our small 7-member chapter, we have raised enough philanthropy dollars to fund 2 college scholarships for local high school seniors to be awarded in the Spring. We will also have additional funds remaining which will be donated to a charity yet to be determined.

Good work Ladies and THANK YOU to everyone who purchased our pecans! ❤️

📚👨‍🎓 Our chapter had another very successful holiday fundraiser — selling our now famous CANDIED PECANS! This is our 5th year and each year we sell more than the year before...our customers are now calling US! 😂❤️❤️

THANK YOU to all of you who helped!! These funds will allow the chapter to award an additional DTT College Scholarship for a local high school senior this Spring! 👨‍🎓📚
