It's been an honor to meet with family members of Martha Robinson. Joanna had contacted us several months ago seeking information on her 2nd great grandmother. Martha's headstone was located completely underground! Over the last couple of months, MCGS Cemetery Committee uncovered and repaired the stone. Joanna made the trip from Chicago to meet her cousin and take a tour of Troy City Cemetery. It was such a beautiful and meaningful moment. ❤️ Don't underestimate the power of being someone's search angel. We celebrated with a lunch at Palenque and had wonderful stories to share with new connections made. ❤️ Wishing you safe travels back home.

The first person to pass through was 15 year old, Annie Moore from Ireland on New Years Day, 1892. She was guardian to her two younger brothers, aged 11 and 7, for the journey before reuniting with family in New York.
