We are excited to share that Mountains to Molehills has started a newsletter! Since our inception in 2022, we have helped hundreds of families in need within our community. Many of our supporters have wanted to learn more about our completed projects and also upcoming projects. We have also had others ask about how they can help out. This newsletter will allow us to keep everyone updated. We’re raising donations for the Overnight Warming Locations of Alton again this year! We donated 3 pans of pasta and bread for about 35 people on Saturday night. Your donations help us continue to provide meals for the homeless on a regular basis throughout the winter months; please consider donating if you can!

Thank you, AARP Livable Communities, for awarding us with a $15,000 grant earlier this year! Your funds allowed us to help over 30 families in the Madison County area receive relief from the extreme heat conditions by providing window AC units and central HVAC repairs for elderly homeowners that were in need. We are so thankful for the impact that this grant enabled us to have in our community and are proud of all our partners that were involved in making it happen!

Big shoutout to Riverbend Family Ministries, Community Hope Center, Senior Services Plus Inc. SSP, and many others for volunteering your resources and linking us up with those in need of these services. We couldn’t have done it without you!

We love to see our partner, Riverbend Family Ministries, have success! It’s even better to see that this generous gift is because members of our community have chosen to support a local organization and cause! 🙌👏🙌

We are absolutely thrilled to share the news that Riverbend Family Ministries has been gifted an incredibly generous gift of $50,000 from Phillips 66 Wood River Refinery. This is a truly humbling honor and a testament to their commitment to our local community.

This incredible gift will support the daily operations of our Client Service Department, which is dedicated to providing personalized support to our clients and their families, including rental and utility assistance, social service navigation, vital rehabilitation connections, and more.

At RFM, we strive to provide a comprehensive range of resources all under one roof, designed to empower families and individuals to achieve self-sufficiency. Our collaborative and holistic approach is focused on helping children, young people, and families who have experienced trauma due to violence, addiction, poverty, and homelessness.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Phillips 66 Wood River Refinery for their unwavering commitment to enhancing the local communities where their employees live and work. We are honored to be the recipients of this extraordinary gift and look forward to continuing our work together to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
