So proud of the nine Operation Blessing volunteers who took the time this afternoon to be either certified or recertified for AED/CPR. Hope we never have to use it, but it's good to know we have capable and willing people to step up when and if they are needed.

SAVE THE DATE! On June 25, 2026, Operation Blessing will be holding a jigsaw puzzle contest at the KC Hall in Godfrey. Tables of up to 6 persons will be available at $120 (or $20 per person). Doors will open at 6 pm with the contest beginning at 6:30 PM. More info to follow!

I realize that the Wood River schools are closed for in-person learning. They can operate virtually. Though our policy is to be closed when the schools are closed due to weather, we cannot operate a food pantry virtually. We are open for in-person service for our low-income neighbors.
However, the area for drop-off donations has not been cleared. I'm not sure we can even get those gates open, so it might be a good idea to hold your donations for now.
