God continues to amaze us every single week.

We are incredibly thankful for the amazing new volunteers at our Alton, Illinois street church outreach that God has brought to Churches on the Streets. They know the Word of God, live it out with compassion, faithfully share the Gospel, and genuinely love the people we serve. Their servant hearts have helped us become even more organized and effective, allowing us to reach and impact even more lives.

Last night, Mary Olson shared God’s Word, and what a blessing she was. Thank you, Mary, for allowing God to use you to encourage and minister to others.

Because of the generosity of so many, we were able to serve a hot meal, distribute clothing, hygiene items, and other much needed essentials to everyone who came.

Every week, we have the privilege of meeting people right where they are, offering not only practical help but also the hope, love, and truth found in Jesus Christ. We are seeing lives encouraged, relationships built, and hearts touched.

Thank you to every volunteer, donor, and prayer partner who faithfully stands with us. Your love, generosity, and willingness to serve are making an eternal difference. We are grateful to be the hands and feet of Jesus together.

➡️ We would also appreciate gently used/new summer clothing - average sizes (we are especially low on men's clothing), tennis shoes, sandals, boxer/underwear, socks, bras, hygiene, feminine hygiene, first aid items, backpacks, tote, bags, flashlights, batteries, tarps, tents, sleeping bags.

🚛 WE NEED VOLUNTEER BOX TRUCK DRIVERS! ❤️

Could YOU be the person God is calling to help?

We’re looking for dependable volunteers to drive our box trucks on Monday and/or Thursday evenings as we serve individuals and families in need throughout our communities in St. Louis and Alton, Illinois areas.

Do you have:

✅ A valid driver’s license?
✅ A good driving record?
✅ A heart to serve others?
✅ The ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.?

If you answered YES, we’d love to talk with you!

This is more than driving a truck. It’s delivering hope, compassion, food, clothing, and essential supplies to people who need them most. Every trip helps us reach lives with practical assistance and the love of Christ.

We had a wonderful evening at our Alton Street Church last night, highlighted by a powerful message from Pastor Sherry Keller of Hilltop Assembly Church in Wood River.

Pastors Tim and Sherry Keller truly have shepherds’ hearts. Their love for people and their commitment to growing the church while reaching the community with the life changing Gospel of Jesus Christ is evident in everything they do.

In addition to sharing God’s Word, we were blessed to serve a hot meal, distribute many needed donations, and spend meaningful time praying with and encouraging those who joined us. It was a night filled with hope, compassion, and the love of Christ.

We are so thankful for everyone who served, gave, prayed, and made this ministry possible. To God be all the glory!

We do this so we can manage the source of where it's coming from.

Ralph and I are incredibly grateful for the amazing people who share our passion for reaching those in need, sharing the Gospel, and making disciples through our Churches on the Streets outreaches.

A special thank you to Enid Kinkel for bringing a powerful message this past Thursday evening, and to her husband, Bill, for driving one of our ministry trucks. They have supported Churches on the Streets in so many ways over the past few years, and we are so thankful to now have them serving alongside us at our Alton street outreach.

Thursday was pizza night! Along with fresh fruit, snacks, and cold drinks, our volunteers served each guest with compassion, kindness, and the love of Christ.

We are truly thankful for every volunteer who gives their time, talents, and heart to this ministry. It is such a blessing to watch this incredible team continue to grow.

As God continues to bring the right people alongside us, we are working to become even more organized and expand our outreach so we can impact even more lives. We are excited to see more servant hearted individuals stepping in, rolling up their sleeves, and helping make this ministry even more effective.

This link has several cooling site options in Madison County, Illinois and surrounding as well.

Help Us Create Blessing Bags for Our Unhoused Neighbors!

Would you, your family, small group, business, civic group or church consider putting together Blessing Bags using the attached checklist? Simply fill a gallon zip lock, backpack or drawstring bag with as many of the suggested items as you’d like, add a handwritten note of encouragement, and we’ll distribute them during our weekly Churches on the Streets outreaches to those experiencing homelessness.

Creating a Blessing Bag is a meaningful, hands on way to share the love of Christ while meeting practical needs. Every bag provides essentials, encouragement, and a reminder that someone cares.
