Relationships grow through time, care, and teaching.

Alongside pastor training, Nico is teaching teenagers at a Christian children’s home in Thailand twice a week.

The current lessons address substance abuse. After completing that curriculum, he plans to teach English using the Gospel of Mark.

Please pray for understanding, meaningful conversations, and lasting fruit as these young people learn.

Who has faithfully prayed with you, taught you, or walked beside you in a difficult season?

October is Pastor Appreciation Month a meaningful opportunity to thank the people who shepherd our churches. đź’›

Their ministry includes much we may never see: hospital visits, quiet prayers, difficult conversations, and hours spent preparing to teach God’s Word.

At Timothy Two, we have the privilege of equipping pastors who are already doing this faithful work in their communities.

🇺🇬 From the Field: Uganda

Dr. Bryan Slater recently returned from Uganda, where 41 pastors gathered for biblical training through Timothy Two.

One pastor shared how the workshop changed his understanding of his relationship with God:

“I have learned a huge thing that I am a child of God… He adopted me and is there with me.”

But perhaps the most powerful part came next:

“I will take responsibility to train others with what I have learned.”

That is the heart of Timothy Two. The impact doesn’t stop with 41 pastors it continues as equipped leaders return to their churches and pass biblical truth on to others.

🇨🇫 “This training marked a turning point in my life and ministry.”

After participating in Timothy Two’s Knowing God workshop, a pastor from the Church of God shared how the training transformed his understanding of God—and the way he leads and serves others.

“Before this training, my knowledge of God was partly influenced by my experiences and personal ideas. But today, I can say that I have received a more accurate and biblical understanding of who God is.

As a pastor, my eyes have been opened. I now understand that knowing God well is essential to leading His people effectively. This training corrected, taught, and transformed me.”

And the impact didn’t stop with ministry.

“There has also been a real impact in my family. I learned to reflect the character of God in my daily life.”

One truth especially stayed with him:

“God does everything for His glory.”

He shared that this truth has changed the way he views trials, blessings, and even ministry itself.

Stories like this remind us why biblical training matters. When a pastor grows in his knowledge of God, what he learns goes with him—into his family, his church, and the people he serves.

A room full of leaders. Certificates in hand. But this photo represents much more than the completion of a workshop.
Each participant returns to a place of influence a church, ministry, family, or community with biblical teaching they can now share with others.

Timothy Two exists to equip leaders who equip leaders.
Today, we celebrate this group in Cameroon and pray for all the people who will be impacted through their faithful service. 🙏

🇨🇫 “Today, I can confidently say that I know God better.”

For Pastor Kalambani Innocent of The House of God Church, Timothy Two’s Knowing God workshop brought a deeper understanding of the God he had faithfully served for years.

“As a pastor, I humbly acknowledge that this training was a revelation for me.

For a long time, I served God sincerely, but without a deep understanding of certain aspects of His nature. Through this training, my eyes have been opened. I discovered a greater, sovereign God who is perfectly faithful to Himself.”

But what he learned did not remain within his ministry. It began transforming life at home as well.

“I learned to live out and teach the attributes of God within my home. This brought transformation in the way we pray, communicate, and face challenges.”

One truth now shapes the way Pastor Innocent understands both life and ministry:

“God does nothing randomly—everything is for His glory.”

He is eager to continue through the remaining Timothy Two workshops and grow even further in his ability to faithfully serve and teach others.

This is the multiplication we pray for: biblical truth taking root in a leader, strengthening a family, and ultimately reaching a church and community.

The goal isn't simply to hold another workshop.

The goal is to equip leaders who can take what they learn and teach others.

That is why the launch of Timothy Two training in Northeast Brazil matters.

Brazilian national leader Matheus Vasconcelos describes the opportunity:

“Training leaders in places like Morada Nova and Mossoró is an opportunity to strengthen local churches and multiply healthy leadership throughout the region.”

This is the heart of Timothy Two:

🇨🇫 “It was much more than just a teaching session—it was a true inner transformation.”

A participant in our Knowing God workshop in the Central African Republic recently shared how the training changed not only her understanding of God, but also the way she approaches life and ministry:

“Throughout the training, I was deeply touched by the way biblical truths were taught with clarity and depth.

The module on Knowing God: His Divine Attributes allowed me to discover God from a new perspective. I understood that knowing God is not limited to what we hear or think we know, but it is a living relationship that transforms the way we think, live, and serve.

This training had a real impact on my personal life, but also on the way I see others and serve in God’s work.”

She also shared a hope for what could come next: a Sango translation of the training manual, making this biblical training accessible to even more pastors and ministry leaders across the Central African Republic.

“I pray that this work will continue to grow in the Central African Republic and impact even more lives.”
