Behind every unforgettable week at UGC is a cabin counselor who said “yes.”

Yes to serving.
Yes to discipling.
Yes to creating belonging for individuals with disabilities.
Yes to being the hands and feet of Jesus.

At Unstoppable God Conference, our cabin counselors help make camp safe, joyful, accessible, and deeply rooted in the Gospel. They pray with campers, worship beside them, encourage them, and help create life-changing moments all week long.

A huge shoutout and thank you to our incredible spring intern, Emmerson! This girl jumped into action in January. This semester she has:
- represented UGM at the Goddard resource fair
- planned and organized the Family Weekend Resource Fair
- communicated with all FW speakers
- communicated with families
- laminated A LOT
- served as a Fun Squad member
- made lots of lattes and fancy sodas
- prepared documents and reports
- updated contacts database
- organized paperwork and spreadsheets
- updated social media stories

And her final project… organizing and inventory of the UGM storage unit. Not a small task!

Emmerson has taken every request with a great attitude. We are thankful for her service, humility, and love for God and the IDD community! We think we’ll keep her 😉
