The Notre Dame Club of Wichita mourns the passing of Coach Lou Holtz. He was more than just the coach; he was a leader, a motivator, a man of faith, and a family man who inspired all of us to be our best. Thank you for everything Coach. Rest in peace.

Ian Premer of Great Bend made it official by signing with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish this morning🏈. Premer, a 5 star TE, is the best three sport athlete in Kansas. As Chet Kuplen put it at yesterday’s Sports in Kansas Top 11 event. “He’s the best three sport athlete we’ve ever covered. He has an opportunity this season to be Top 11🏈, Top 5🏀, and Top 9⚾️. And he’s already been first team 5A twice with a year left in all three of those sports.” Premer was a hybrid athlete for the Panthers as a senior and his stat line shows just that: 620 rushing (14 TD), 734 receiving (14 TD), 123 return yards, 68 tackles, 6 interceptions, 164 interception return yards, two pick six, and blocked field goal. 🤯 photo: Great Bend HS
