Our build manager Patrick participated in this event! We received 25 beds and mattresses to bring back to the Wausau community. Saturday is delivery day!

Volunteers assembled three beds for a family during a recent delivery in Green Bay, including a bunk bed that had to fit inside a tight bedroom space.

What a day! Thank you NTC Alternative Education School Be Amazing Club- together we built 16 beds!

About 50 volunteers cranked out bed parts in the parking lot of North Central Technical College. It was the first bed building event Sleep in Heavenly Peace in Wausau has had.

The DCE Evergreen Elementary Be Amazing club wanted to help other kids so they organized an item drive to collect bedding, pillows and stuffed animals for Sleep in Heavenly Peace - WI, Wausau ! The students loved the organization’s mission of making sure no kid sleeps on the floor!

Posting again as we are still in need of storage for donated items. Do you know someone who might have storage space to donate?

STORAGE SPACE NEEDED: We are looking for donated or low-cost storage space in the Wausau area to store mattresses, bedding, pillows, and supplies between build days and deliveries.

A warehouse corner, garage or unused commercial space would make a huge difference in helping us stay organized and ready to serve families.

While one team delivered beds this morning, another team participated in the “Community of Unity” Women’s Day of Service. We were thrilled to introduce SHP- Wausau and provide a hands-on activity for workshop participants. Thank you to our host Central WI Relief Society & Wausau Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
