As Monday approaches, it’s one year since of the loss of two amazing young people. Emi and Danny will never be forgotten!

Hug your families and kids. Put down your phones and all the distractions and enjoy making memories with your family and friends!

I will forever remember Emi and Danny! Their joy, smiles, stories, and outtings together…so many wonderful memories!

I wanted to express my joy to the Lord for the last 8 years of being in the mist of so many amazing teens and young adults. It is God who was the center of it all. I can not praise Him enough for His faithfulness. I am blessed to know each and every one student that walked through those doors. They have impacted my life as much as I have theirs. God has taught me so many wonderful lessons throughout the last 8 years at Middle Grounds.

As I come to a close in this chapter of my life at Middle Grounds I want to clarify that I am not done holding co-ed Bible Studies, campfires and game nights with the teens and young adults. My husband, Russell and I are so excited to be doing this in our home. God has impressed it on my heart to do one-on-one Bible Studies with a few young ladies, as well.

God has opened the door for me to volunteer at a youth detention center called Homme Home again, as well. I will be able to do chapel time there again. I can't wait!

When you know that God wants you to move then you move and if He wants you to stay then stay. I know God is asking me to move to my next season in life. My goal in life is to humbly walk with God and go where He wants me to go.

For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ. Galatians 1:10

My words of wisdom to all of you is to seek God if you don't know Him, encourage one another wherever God leads them, go directly to the person if you are wondering what is going on, meet some new people, and most importantly pray for one another. Be the biggest cheerleader to those around you. Be positive!!!

Thank you to everyone who has so graciously supported Middle Grounds over the past 8 years and entrusted your kids to hangout. I am forever grateful for all God has done at Middle Grounds. I am looking forward to my next chapter!

Please pray for all the teens who walked through the doors of Middle Grounds that the seeds planted would grow. Please pray for me as I walk out in faith where He is taking me.
