We have a few volunteer opportunities open right now, and we'd love your help!

Information:
This Thursday, 8/27, we're hosting a workday from 9 am–12 pm in Sara's Storybook Garden. Volunteer leaders will be on site to help delegate tasks, so newcomers can jump right in without feeling overwhelmed.

If you enjoy being outdoors, our grounds could use some TLC. This is a laid-back, come-when-you-can opportunity. We have a weekly volunteer date, but drop-ins are always welcome.

Looking for something more people-facing? We're also seeking volunteers to greet guests at the Welcome Center. This role involves cash handling and our Point-of-Sale system, but training takes just one day. Shifts are flexible and split into three blocks: 8 am–12 pm, 12 pm–4 pm, and 4 pm–8 pm.

TODAY IS THE DAY!

Booze, Blends, & Botany kicks off in a few hours and no, we will not be gatekeeping the good cocktails. Local bartenders including Knowlton House Spirits, Leslie from Venado, Lisa with Winemaker,, Jesse from Faraway Place, and Jeff with Juliett are all here shaking, stirring, pouring, and muddling their way into your heart.

Come sip your way through our gardens, bid on the silent auction, try your luck with the raffle, and pretend it's totally normal to drink for a good cause. (It is. We checked.)

Our biggest fundraiser of the year is coming up, and luckily, it comes with a cocktail in hand.
Tomorrow night, the gardens transform into a hub for craft cocktails, as local mixologists shake, stir, and muddle their way through sophisticated, one-of-a-kind creations, featuring botanicals grown right in our own gardens!
Every ticket goes directly toward keeping our gardens luscious and providing the Wausau community with a space that educates and inspires everyone who visits. Want to give a little more? Check out our silent auction, raffles, and giving tree while you're there.
