Check out these lovely ladies from St. John’s Immanuel ELCA Church, Kim, Briah, Maci and Jan (Duane not pictured) provided our community lunch. The most amazing Turkey and gravy over homemade mashed potato’s, green beans and loads of brownies and bars and chocolate zucchini cake! They fed 77 of those most vulnerable folks in our community. Thank you ladies it sure was fun to have you help us today!

Thank you to Amy Z…and her crew who provided wonderful sandwiches for our little community, there was fresh fruit, chips and some of the best sweet breads ever. Amy you fed 64 and a few took sandwiches and chips to go. Michael C dropped off 30 dozen ears of corn - we are cooking and freezing for a lunch over the winter and some we are sharing with the community. Thank you Amy Z and Michael C - we so appreciate you!

Faith Gokey and her sisters Peggy Romanowski and Patti Krueger always have fun at Outreach. Friday August 21st they provided Pulled Pork, coleslaw, pasta salad, chips and desserts and salad! These ladies seem to attract the crowd because they provided 89 meals for our crew today. It was a wonderful lunch. The volunteers in the clothing closet provided 160 items. We could use bras! Nothing fancy just comfortable. S, M, L - sports bras, 36C, 34B, 36B and 38 B, also on the wish list is a couple pairs of size medium leggings and we have one request from a gal for training wheels for her son’s small bike. How about it ladies what you got in the bottom of the bra drawer! Thank you all for following, commenting, sharing and helping our group.

On Wednesday Michelle Dins, Carol & Kathy with the help of Kristi Doucette provided our clients with a Taco Bar and Michelle’s husband made Rootbeer Floats for dessert! What a treat - it was really a load of fun as you can tell by the smiles here. They provided 65 meals to those less fortunate. Our volunteers in the clothing room provided 193 necessary items. We could use shampoo and conditioner, tooth paste and mens deodorant. Thank you to this lovely crew who continue to help us provide for those less fortunate.

Jenny Christiansen and her lovely daughters brought a wonderful meal - Spaghetti & meatballs, Hot Chicken Sandwiches, fruit, salad & gogurts! They fed 66 of our clients yesterday! Way to go ladies it was so nice to have you at Outreach you are future leaders! Our clothing room provided 149 necessary supplies. We are in desperate need of mens jeans and underwear. Size medium and large underwear, 36x30, 36x32, 34x32, 34x34, 32x30, 32x32 and 32x34 jeans & men’s xl, 2xlg, 3xl & 4xl t-shirts. Requests are ear buds, c-charging cords with a block, bike carts and bathroom towels. Thank you all for how you help those less fortunate!

This is Bobbi Fullington she provided BBQ, beans, Mac & Cheese, cookies and potato salad. With her is Jason a new volunteer. Stephen Zick provided burgers and beans - we had salad and loads of desserts. It was quite the lunch. We fed 63 lunches and our Clothing room provided 193 items. It was a busy day at outreach.

A couple of us went to several garage sales today in and around Wausau. Found several things that were on wish lists but no bike carts. These are the kinds that work the best as the clients can put their belongings in these and they stay safe and dry. If you have one hanging around we could sure use them at The Marty Bus Outreach. We are also looking for athletic socks and size medium sweat pants. Thank you so much for all you do to help our group. We are so very grateful!

This lovely family provided a wonderful lunch for our group of 64 on Friday August 7th. Pictured here is Ava, Sheila Cox, Kay Tessmer and Austin. Austin helped his grandma make jello cups with fruit - it was so yummy. Thank you so much Kay and crew it was a wonderful lunch. Our wonderful volunteers helping in the clothing room provided 212 items. We need socks - I thought I’d never have to say that but if you have some extra socks in that bottom drawer hit us up. Our wish list consists of womans size 10 black-non slip shoes (for job in kitchen), men’s 9.5 walking shoe, mens x-lg shirts and 3x shirts, Bike Carts (4), basket for a bike, and a Queen size mattress for a young family who is getting housing with their new baby. Thank you for all your help and assistance and a huge thank you to Kay Tessmer and her lovely family for a wonderful lunch!

These five ladies Barb Olbrantz, Linda Emens, Lisa Baumann, Sandra Bagley and Marilyn Mueller provided lunch for our group on Wednesday August 5th. Barb and Linda made egg salad and ham & cheese sandwiches, fruit assorted chips and cookies. Lisa, Sandra and Milan provided hot dogs, chips, fruit and bars. It was a fantastic lunch! The lunch fed 68 individuals and our clothing room provided 145 necessary items for them. Ladies you are a blessing to our group and we are very grateful.
