DOES THIS POLITICAL CONFLICT DRIVE YOU TO DRINK, EAT TOO MUCH OR OTHER THINGS?

I got to thinking...WHO IS IN CHARGE OF OUR NATION? If we want to quit with all the fighting and conflict and name calling and hatred check this out...
Isaiah 9:6-7
"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this."
As the conflict between nations, churches, communities and even families continue, let's all try to be more like Jesus who is the best qualified to bring us to peace, justice and righteousness. His reign is with love, grace, compassion, and yes judgment for being an example of being a Wonderful Counselor, Mighty god, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace

Tragedy hit the US this week when Tyler Robinson assasinated Charlie Cook. The pain this has caused our nation is two fold. Grieving the loss of Charlie Cook, but also grieving the loss of how divided our country is and how desperate we are to hurt each other. It needs to stop. It doesn't matter which side you are on, God loves us all and as Charlie is there with him, I expect He is also concerned about the pain that Tyler Robinson is in today as he reflects on what he has done and why. Let us work to love one another no matter what.
