We getting ready and next week starts the real work. For those of you that have volunteered. THANK YOU! We look forward to seeing you next week at the old JC Penney store to sort supplies and pack the backpacks to get ready for the event on Saturday Aug. 19th.

Announcing our new location for this years event. Wausau Center Mall has graciously donated the old JC Penney store for use this year. Stay tuned for volunteer and donation updates. We are excited about our new space.

I know school just ended so it seems crazy to think about back to school already but the Workplace Volunteer Council is getting ready for the 2017 Fill A Backpack Fill A Need event. Keep us in mind for donations of supplies or for a volunteer opportunity and as always we are happy to accept monetary donations as well and do the shopping for you. We will have a new location this year so stay tuned for more info on our great new spot.

I know that it is way too early to think about back to school 🏫 but the Workplace Volunteer Council is starting early to get the number of backpacks that we will need for the 2017 drive for Fill A backpack Fill a need. We are in need of over 2000 backpacks. There could still be.some on clearance from this year. If you are shopping please remember us.

Our Back to Basics program serves our community by providing basic hygiene items to families in need. We are currently looking for donations for basic toiletry items such as: shampoo, bar soap, wash cloths, brushes/combs, toothbrushes and paste, shaving cream and razors, and deodorants. Our Bare Necessities program serves our community in providing basic clothing items for those in need. We are currently looking for donations for t-shirts, socks, and underwear in men, women and children sizes as well as infant onesies.
