Whether you're a seasoned golfer or have never picked up a club, this event is all about having fun while making a difference.

100% of registration proceeds support EmpowerFit's mission to help Alaska youth access healthy, educational, recreational, and mentorship opportunities. We believe healthy brains and healthy lives are built through movement, creativity, and positive connections. That doesn't have to mean a traditional team sport. It could be dance, music, art, outdoor recreation, shooting sports, fitness, or any activity that helps young people thrive.

🌟 Big Day for EmpowerFit Foundation! 🌟

Today was an incredible opportunity to share more about our mission, our impact, and the exciting things ahead for Alaska youth at the Impakt Youth Athletics Grand Opening. A special shoutout and thank you to Erin Aklestad, for coming to volunteer her time at our table to share about our mission and upcoming fundraiser.

EmpowerFit Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to breaking down barriers for Alaska youth by increasing access to sports, recreation, education, wellness, and mentorship opportunities. We believe every young person deserves the chance to thrive—regardless of financial hardship, life circumstances, or access to resources.

Many of the youth we serve face challenges such as limited access to extracurricular activities, foster care involvement, juvenile justice involvement, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), and lack of positive mentorship. Through scholarships and direct support, we connect youth with healthy, structured programs and caring adult role models who help guide them toward brighter futures.

A quick update on our name:
We previously hosted our inaugural fundraiser in 2025 under EmpowerFit Foundation, DBA Impakt Youth. Today, we are proud to share that we are fully operating under our original nonprofit name—EmpowerFit Foundation. While our name has returned, our mission, leadership, and commitment to Alaska youth remain stronger than ever. 💪

Thank you to everyone who supported our very first fundraiser last year! We are incredibly grateful for the memories made, the relationships built, and the stronger community that continues to grow because of your support.

A special thank you to Impakt Athletics for hosting an amazing event, and to Palmer Elks Lodge #1842 & Iron Dog Team 7 - Aklestad/Olstad for being two of the key sponsors, enthusiastic participants, and for providing the ATVs that made the event so memorable.

While our organization is now operating under the name EmpowerFit Foundation, we are the same nonprofit with the same mission and heart-removing barriers so Alaska youth can access healthy, educational, recreational, and mentorship opportunities. We are excited to continue this journey with all of you!

Reintroducing EmpowerFit Foundation

At EmpowerFit, we believe every Alaska child deserves the opportunity to thrive.

EmpowerFit Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to removing financial and social barriers that prevent youth from participating in healthy, educational, recreational, and mentorship opportunities.

We know that participation in sports, outdoor recreation, nutrition education, fitness, and positive mentorship does far more than keep kids busy. It also builds confidence, academic success, sensory maturation, resilience, healthy relationships, and lifelong habits that support both physical and mental well-being.

Many Alaska youth face challenges such as financial hardship, foster care involvement, juvenile justice involvement, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), or limited access to extracurricular activities. Through scholarships and community partnerships, EmpowerFit helps connect these youth with opportunities that can change the trajectory of their lives.

Our vision is simple:
