Statewide and National 9-1-1 Leadership

Communications Manager Criqui has been nominated by the State of Alaska APCO/NENA Chapter and DPS Statewide Services to serve as Alaska's voting representative to the National Association of State 911 Administrators (NASNA). NASNA supports the success of statewide 9-1-1 programs through collaboration among state administrators, information sharing, professional education, strategic partnerships and engagement with federal policymakers and agencies. Each state has one voting member. This role gives Alaska a direct voice in national discussions affecting 9-1-1 policy, funding, technology and the continued transition to Next Generation 9-1-1.

A bill supporting the recognition of 911 as public safety in the State of Alaska is moving forward, and we need your help.
