Sapphire went missing on 8/18/26 from the Alaska State Fairgrounds in Palmer. There have been no confirmed sightings since the day after she went missing, so it’s possible she was picked up and taken out of the immediate area. Please call the number on the poster with any information or sightings. Thank you!

This young, intact male dog has been spotted over the past couple of weeks between Mile 6 and Mile 7 on Knik River Road. (At the red circle)

Today, we were able to safely and humanely trap him, and he is now at the shelter. ❤️

We scanned him for a microchip but did not find one. The shelter will scan him again in hopes that a chip may have been missed and that we can locate his owner.

🐾 Tell us in the comments... What's your pet's name? 🐶🐱

We're excited to welcome NEW vendor Helping Escaped & Lost Pets (HELP) to our Community Celebration!

If you live in the Upper Susitna Valley, chances are you've seen HELP's posts on local Facebook groups, working tirelessly to reunite lost pets with the families who love them. Their volunteers provide resources, education, and support to help bring furry family members safely home.

Be sure to stop by their booth to learn more about the incredible work they do and how you can help keep pets safe in our communities.

🐕 And yes... our Community Celebration is pet-friendly!

Well-behaved pets are welcome to join the fun as long as they:
🐾 Remain on a leash at all times.
🐾 Are friendly and under their owner's control.
🐾 Have owners who clean up after them.

For the safety and comfort of all attendees, if a pet becomes disruptive or cannot be kept under control, you may be asked to return them to your vehicle or leave the event.
