The ladies showed up for TEA at the MCB/OCBF Info Cup-Come Get the Tea event - umbrellas in hand, spirits high, and style on full display. The fascinators? Absolutely stunning. The energy? Unmatched. The room was filled with beauty, laughter, and the unmistakable scent of love all around.

And then… Dr. Johnnie spilled the tea—pouring out powerful, educational insight that left everyone inspired, informed, and elevated.

By the end, every woman walked away full—full of delicious food, meaningful knowledge, thoughtful gifts, and unforgettable moments.

Rain or shine, THIS is what sisterhood, style, and substance look like.

It was such a heartfelt honor to be one of the survivor models at today’s Puttin’ on the Pink Fashion Luncheon. I’m incredibly grateful to have been part of such a meaningful event, surrounded by strength, courage, and support. With 1,100 attendees, it was truly inspiring to come together to raise awareness and support the Wellness for Life Mobile Health program. My heart is full of gratitude for the opportunity to share in such a powerful and uplifting experience. 💗 A special thanks to Joy and You are Here- Fort Worth

I’m incredibly grateful to be included in the survivor photo exhibit at the NCoBC Conference in Cleveland—it truly means so much to me. Seeing my photo displayed—and knowing I was on the truck and made it all the way to the venue—feels like such a powerful reminder that I made it through, and I’m still standing.

I’m really looking forward to being part of such an inspiring and uplifting conference. With heartfelt thanks to Sylvia Powers for making this moment possible 🩷

What a beautiful day at our Valentine’s Making Chemo Bearable event hosted by Making Chemo Bearable 💕

It was truly heartwarming and full of fun—from the icebreakers that sparked new connections, to building community, to learning how to create stunning floral arrangements together. The room was filled with laughter, creativity, smiles, and so many meaningful hugs.

And we can’t forget the delicious food, the yummy pies, and the sweetest candy bar that made the day even more special!

A special thank you to C’mone for the gorgeous table decorations that set the perfect Valentine’s atmosphere. And heartfelt gratitude to Melina, owner of M Squared, for teaching us how to design such beautiful arrangements with grace and patience.

And to our amazing host, Dr. Johnnie Ireland — you did a fantastic job leading a truly wonderful event. Your warmth and care made the day even more special.

We pray that the smiles and hugs that filled the room continue to bring joy, strength, and love along every journey. 💝✨

It was a true honor for Making Chemo Bearable to be selected as the Community Service project for the 50- and 25-year honorees. The opportunity to share our story during the Founder’s Day celebration of the Omicron Mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated was especially meaningful and truly the icing on the cake. It was a heartwarming and memorable experience, and we extend our sincere gratitude to everyone for your continued support.

Today, I’m celebrating my Sweet 16 — 16 years cancer-free — and finally getting the chance to ring the bell at Baylor Medical Center Dallas, where I received all of my treatments.

During my final treatment at the old facility, the overflow room was the only one available, and I never had the opportunity to ring the bell.

Today, that moment was lovingly and graciously given to me by an incredible team.

A true full-circle moment at Baylor Medical Center Dallas 💕
While there, we were honored to bring a little joy by delivering an MCB Chemo Box for someone receiving treatment in the infusion center.

Thanks to my bestie Andrea for being there!
