What happens in Vegas doesn’t have to stay in Vegas.

The Survivor Stories: Honoring Breast Cancer Survivors of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® session at our AKA National Convention was powerful, inspiring, and a reminder that sharing our stories can truly save lives.

Now it’s our turn to take this message back to our communities. Let’s encourage the women we love to schedule their mammograms, know their family history, perform regular self-checks, and have honest conversations about breast health.

Together, we can raise awareness, promote early detection, and help reduce the breast cancer mortality rate in our communities.

The conversation doesn’t end in Vegas—it begins with us. 💗

You thought the Pink Wagon was done when June ended? Not even close! 💕

The Pink Wagon keeps rolling through July, delivering care, comfort, and hope to breast cancer survivors—from Parkland in Dallas to Joan Katz and Texas Oncology in Fort Worth.

The pink love continues! 💗 Thank you, Sylvia and the Celebrating Life Foundation, for your incredible partnership in empowering survivors to find joy in the journey. 🩷

About Last Night… Our Chemo Box Pizza Party Was a Huge Success!

What an incredible evening of service, connection, and purpose as we came together to create care boxes designed to empower survivors to find joy in the journey.

*24 volunteers
*110 chemo care boxes packed
*Completed in less than 2 hours

A truly amazing accomplishment!

We are so grateful to every volunteer who gave their time, energy, and heart. A special thank you to those who are currently in active treatment and still chose to pour into others. Your strength and compassion are inspiring, and we are honored to have you as part of the MCB community and family.

The night was filled with laughter, new friendships, shared hugs, and a collective commitment to bringing hope to those facing cancer.

Together, we packed more than boxes—we packed love, support, and reminders that no one has to walk this journey alone.🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

Rain couldn’t stop the survivors and caregivers!🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

The ladies showed up for TEA at the MCB/OCBF Info Cup-Come Get the Tea event - umbrellas in hand, spirits high, and style on full display. The fascinators? Absolutely stunning. The energy? Unmatched. The room was filled with beauty, laughter, and the unmistakable scent of love all around.

And then… Dr. Johnnie spilled the tea—pouring out powerful, educational insight that left everyone inspired, informed, and elevated.

By the end, every woman walked away full—full of delicious food, meaningful knowledge, thoughtful gifts, and unforgettable moments.

Rain or shine, THIS is what sisterhood, style, and substance look like.

It was such a heartfelt honor to be one of the survivor models at today’s Puttin’ on the Pink Fashion Luncheon. I’m incredibly grateful to have been part of such a meaningful event, surrounded by strength, courage, and support. With 1,100 attendees, it was truly inspiring to come together to raise awareness and support the Wellness for Life Mobile Health program. My heart is full of gratitude for the opportunity to share in such a powerful and uplifting experience. 💗 A special thanks to Joy and You are Here- Fort Worth
