Recovery is never a journey anyone takes alone. It takes family, friends, healthcare professionals, and a community willing to stand beside you every step of the way — and none of that is possible without people like you. September is Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Month, and Ryan's Fund is marking it with the We Shalieve-a campaign to raise critical funds for our families. OSUDC is proud to partner with the Fund to raise funds and bring awareness to this important cause.

From Ryan:

"Shalieve means believing in what's possible. I didn't get here alone, and no one should have to face a spinal cord injury alone. It takes all of us to create hope, change lives, and help the next person move forward."

During our game watches, we run a raffle with all proceeds benefitting our endowed Spearman Scholarship Fund. Annually, we award three scholarships to local area students to offset first year costs at Ohio State to help make attending an out-of-state school affordable and accessible.

To make this successful, we need volunteers to help conduct the raffles. It's a great way to get involved and meet people! We have detailed instructions and will tell you exactly what to do. Our game day chairs, Turner Dilley and Alex Temple, are happy to answer any questions and can be reached at [email protected].
