Wondering where to find ideas worth spreading? Check out what's happening at National Speaker Association (NSA) DC Metro Area Chapter!

On Saturday, 10 NSA DC members competed for a "golden ticket" - a guaranteed spot to deliver their big idea at TEDx Warrenton in October!

A well-honed 2 minute pitch, followed by 2 minutes of feedback from TEDx veterans generated new ideas, connections, and a meaningful professional development opportunity for everyone in the room.

Sylvia is an international keynote speaker, author and president-elect of NSA DC. Don't miss the opportunity to hear from her in October at TEDx!

And because speakers always pack as much value and interaction as we can into an event, our board member Front Row Frankie found the perfect photographer to capture big moments and do headshot sessions! Look for more on Dan and his work in another post!

😎 Every NSA DC member is a masterpiece. 🖼️

This made the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, DC the perfect place for us to gather for our recent Mix n' Mingle.

Starting in the glass-ceilinged Kogod Courtyard, we took in exhibits ranging from Hollywood's Golden Age to The Struggle for Justice to modern representations of daily life. We shared our perspectives on portraits we found especially moving and people we'd love to have coffee with.

We wrote affirmations and shared them with each other as an especially useful memento from the day. Because speakers love to lift each other up! 😎

👏 The experience was created and facilitated by our board member Front Row Frankie who has a never-ending supply of ideas for building community along with personal and professional development.
