The Catholic High School Class of 2001 celebrated their 25th reunion during Crusader Homecoming weekend. Classmates reconnected and cheered on the Crusaders at the Homecoming game and continued the festivities the following day with a gathering at Voodoo Brewing!

The Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School Class of 2016's 10-year reunion was one for the books! They had so much fun catching up with old friends, reminiscing about their high school days, seeing how far everyone has come, and, of course, cheering on the football team during the homecoming game! Thank you to everyone who came out; they are already looking forward to the next one!

On October 4, the Norfolk Catholic High School Class of 1980 celebrated a wonderful 45th reunion at The Grey Goose in Hampton, VA, owned by classmate Phil Epstein ’80! We're so happy the class could reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate 45 years of friendship and memories!

We loved welcoming the Norfolk Catholic High School Class of 1966 at CHS to celebrate their 60th reunion!

The class enjoyed reconnecting at the Homecoming Alumni Party and spending time together at their tailgate. It was wonderful to see them together celebrating 60 years of friendship and the special bond they share as classmates.

Happy 60th Reunion, Class of 1966! We’re so glad you celebrated with us!

Peggy Richard Mitchell, the Homecoming Queen of the Norfolk Catholic High School Class of 1966, proudly participated in the 2026 Homecoming Parade as her class celebrated its 60th reunion at the game.

After graduating from Norfolk Catholic High School in 1966, Peggy attended Old Dominion University for a year before moving with her family to Biloxi, Mississippi. She earned an Associate of Arts degree from Perkinston Junior College in 1969, followed by a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Delta State University in 1971.

Peggy began her teaching career in Mississippi, where she taught Remedial Reading and English for 10 years. She then moved to Fort Walton Beach, Florida, where she taught English at Choctawhatchee High School for 31 years.

Since retiring in 2015, Peggy has enjoyed traveling throughout Europe and the United States, spending time with her daughter’s family and two granddaughters in Franklin, Tennessee, and celebrating special family occasions. She is also an active member of the Fort Walton Beach Woman’s Club.

Peggy’s commitment to her community was recently recognized when she was honored as one of the Women of Honor in Okaloosa County, celebrating her years of service and contributions to the community.

We were honored to have Mr. John Martin ’52 as the 2026 Homecoming Parade Grand Marshal.

A member of one of Catholic High’s earliest generations of Crusaders, Mr. Martin remains a dedicated and enthusiastic member of the Catholic High family. He and his wife, Ruth, have shared a life filled with adventure, including their lifelong love of sailing. For more than 40 years, sailing has taken the Martins on countless adventures and has become an important part of their story together. Their sailing journey was even featured in the 2014 Winter issue of Crusader Magazine, highlighting a story originally published in The Virginian-Pilot.

Mr. Martin’s connection to Catholic High remains strong. He is a familiar face at the annual Crusader Classic Golf Tournament, where he never misses the opportunity to reconnect with fellow Crusaders and support his alma mater. We are grateful for Mr. Martin’s continued love and support of Catholic High!
