Daryl Ann "DA" Coss '18 recently returned from Tokyo, Japan, where she played with the Philippines team in the World Lacrosse Championships (similar to Soccer's World Cup). She, along with other US players of Filipino heritage, got dual citizenship to represent the country. This was the country's first-ever appearance in these World Championships, and Daryl Ann helped lead the team to a top-ten finish in the final World Team standings, a feature that garnered significant overseas national coverage in Philippine news and social media, as well as in many international outlets. Next up for the team is the 2026 Asia-Pacific Lacrosse Championships in Australia this October, a precursor for qualifying to the 2028 Olympics, to be held in Los Angeles.

DA is a 2018 Catholic High School graduate and played D1 college lacrosse for perennially highly-ranked Loyola University MD, earning a Master's Degree in 2023. She was recently named the new Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach at D1 Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, FL. See the announcement below.

Miss Tracy earned her BS in Elementary Education and Teaching from Longwood University and holds a Collegiate Professional License (Grades PreK–6th). Another familiar face coming back home this year, Mrs. ReaAnna (Kelly) Burant' 22!

RaeAnna earned a B.S. in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech. Before moving back to Virginia Beach, she worked in a biochemistry research lab at VT. RaeAnna enjoys paddleboarding, hiking, photography, reading, and adoration dates with her husband. She is excited to be returning to her Alma mater to teach biology and chemistry and assisting with campus ministry!

We are so excited to begin introducing the newest members of our Crusader family for the 2026-2027 school year! Our first new teacher is a familiar face to many of you.

Mr. Jack Domark ‘22 graduated from The Catholic University of America in ‘26 with a Ph.B. in Philosophy and a Concentration in Pre-Theology. He also attended and graduated from St John Paul II Seminary, which is a house of formation in the Archdiocese of Washington for the Catholic priesthood. Having left seminary, he is excited to return to Catholic High as a 10th and 11th grade Theology teacher. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, and playing sports.

Crusader Alumni! Save the date for our 2026 Crusader Homecoming! The Crusaders will take on Atlantic Shores Christian School on Friday, October 2, at Finch Field. Kick-off is at 7:00 p.m. All alumni get FREE admission to the game at the front gate.

Join us at the 2026 Crusader Homecoming Alumni Party at the TowneBank Athletic Pavilion in the Murphy Family Plaza for complimentary food & refreshments for all alumni and their families! The Alumni Party will take place from 6:30 p.m. through halftime. Plenty of freebies will be up for grabs, and we will also be raffling off a basket full of Crusader Alumni gear and more! All proceeds will benefit the Alumni Legacy Scholarship.

We also look forward to one BIG reunion celebration for ALL classes ending in 6s and 1s, so come out and celebrate your reunion!

Kelly Hallauer '22 and Josie Mazzeo '22, Crusader Alumni and friends since they were 7 years old, recently began medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. They are also both serving as Ensigns in the U.S. Navy.

We are so proud of these two and can't wait to see all they accomplish. Congratulations, Kelly and Josie!

A huge thank you to all of our current and alumnae players who joined us for the Alumnae Green & Gold Field Hockey Game this past Friday!

It was a fun and competitive match, with the alumnae coming away with a 7–6 victory over the current Crusaders. Following the game, everyone gathered for a wonderful potluck hosted by the current team.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the evening so special. We can't wait to do it all again next year! 💚💛🏑
