The Coastal VA Chamber of Commerce was honored to be part of Ambassador Viorel Ursu, Republic of Moldova; visit to Coastal Virginia. The trip was supported by one of our board members, Roman Palancica; and included meaningful business connect meetings in critical areas such as defense, cyber, and trade. In addition. the Ambassador met with the growing Moldovan American Community of Coastal Virginia, ODU International Students, and the Port of Virginia. This past weekend, one of CVCC's community award recipient organizations, the Tidewater Ukrainian Cultural Association hosted Ukraine Independence Day. The annual event hosted featured food from the Ukrainian Victory Kitchen and performances from local Ukrainian performers. Proceeds from the event went to supporting community needs in Ukraine.
