🌟Meet the Team!🌟

Behind every race, every Angel smile, and every moment of inclusion is an incredible team of leaders making it all happen. Over the coming weeks, we're introducing the people who help bring the Ainsley's Angels mission to life across the country, from local Ambassadors to our national leadership team.

First up, meet Craig McDaniel, Ambassador for Central Kansas!

Craig launched Ainsley's Angels in Kansas in 2019, but he's originally from Wyoming. He moved to Kansas to earn his specialist degree in School Psychology and, as he puts it, "accidentally got married" and never left.

And how does he know he's officially become a Kansan?

"I used to think Nebraska was flat. Now, when we visit, I catch myself saying, 'Wow, look at all these hills.'"

Kansas loves you, Craig! Thanks for helping ensure everyone can experience .

Trails, roots, hills, and a whole lot of smiles.

Just another reminder that adventure is better when everyone gets a seat at the starting line.

We're inspired by the incredible women competing for the title of Ms. Wheelchair America 2027 and by their use of their platforms to advocate for accessibility, inclusion, and meaningful change in their communities.

From healthcare access to employment opportunities and community inclusion, these advocates are helping create a world where everyone belongs.

Join us in celebrating their leadership and wishing them the best on their journey to the national stage!

Allyship in Action: 4 Ways to Create Belonging

What does inclusion actually look like? It looks like inviting members to the table from different communities. It looks like treating one another with respect. It's celebrating the unique gifts each Angel brings to the table. It's creating spaces where everyone feels safe, valued, and free to be themselves.

Swipe through to explore four simple ways we can all help build a community where every Angel belongs. Inclusion isn't just a goal, it's something we practice every day.

Leadership doesn't always happen behind a podium or at the front of a race. Sometimes, it looks like noticing a barrier and finding a way around it.

Ally Development Program graduate Debbie recently put together an art experience where every participant had the support and adaptations they needed to fully join in the fun. The result? Smiling faces, beautiful artwork, and tons of inclusive fun!

This is what our Ally Development Program is all about - empowering people to recognize barriers, think creatively, and build communities where everyone belongs. What activity would you like to see be made more inclusive?

📸 Debbie S. and huge thank you to My Time Arts for making this event possible.
