👕 Clothing Donations Needed for Local Children & Families 👕

The Outreach Alliance of Ventura County® Care Closet Program is currently in need of gently used clothing, from newborn through teen sizes.

We are a nonprofit working in direct partnership with Ventura County Children & Family Services (VCCFS) to provide essential items—such as clothing—to children and families during times of emergency.

The 2026 NMJL card is ready for pre-order, and ordering through Outreach Alliance of Ventura County helps support outreach programs and philanthropic services for our neighbors right here in Ventura County. You’ll receive the exact same card, mailed on the same schedule as ordering directly, while helping OAVC continue its work in the community.

What an incredible day! 🎉 The Outreach Alliance of Ventura County celebrated our 75th anniversary with a ribbon-cutting, live music, and recognition from community leaders including Jim Duran, Assembly Member Steve Bennet, Representative Salud Carbajal, and the Ventura Chamber of Commerce.

For 75 years, we’ve been committed to serving children and families across Ventura County — and this milestone marks a new chapter as a stand-alone nonprofit organization.

The Outreach Alliance of Ventura County is grateful to receive a $10,000 grant from Sprouts Farmers Market Healthy Communities Foundation!

With this support, we’ll be able to expand our Care Closet food pantries at Healthy Start schools in Oxnard and Port Hueneme — stocking rice, beans, masa, boxed milk, infant formula, and more for local families in need.

Together, we’re sowing the seeds for a healthier future for our kids and connecting generations to a healthier, more fulfilling way to live.
