Chick-fil-A Mount Pleasant TX exists to live on mission – reaching out and feeding our community both inside and outside our restaurant. For our 3rd birthday we decided there was no better way to celebrate than to give back! This week we gave $300 to three local organizations that consistently reach out into our community to leave it better than they found it.

At Chick-fil-A Mount Pleasant TX fostering and adopting is near and dear to our hearts both through personal family experience, and through community involvement. We are proud to partner with our local Fostering Collective office, that is doing the work reaching out to recruit and support local foster families in East Texas.

The Fostering Collective team comes alongside those looking to impact the lives of children from hard places. Whether this means shepherding new foster families through licensing processes, or supporting active foster families through the trials of everyday life The Fostering Collective is there to help with a listening ear, or a need for physical support through their Collective Closet they have and do it all. We are blessed to know, love, and have them in Mount Pleasant TX!

💙 Thank You, Henderson! 💙

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone who stopped by Legacy House in Henderson for our "Pop By and Say Hi" event this past Saturday!

The incredible support from our community was on full display as so many people came by to drop off diapers, learn more about how we support foster, adoptive, and kinship families, and lend a helping hand. Your generosity and willingness to invest in families in our community is truly inspiring.

We were especially excited to see volunteers working on Tabitha Moland's Eagle Scout Project, the Outdoor Sensory and Connect Area. This special space will provide opportunities for families to connect with one another, become more trauma-informed, and build stronger support networks within our community.

Saturday was a beautiful reminder that Henderson cares deeply for its families and children. Thank you for showing up, serving, and helping us create a place where families can thrive together.

As Foster Care Awareness Month comes to a close, we want to say thank you for praying with us this month. 💙

Thank you for showing up. Thank you for caring about children and families impacted by foster care.

Together, we prayed for healing, protection, belonging, provision, restoration, and hope.

We prayed for children waiting for families.
For foster and biological families navigating hard seasons. For caseworkers, advocates, mentors, and caregivers faithfully serving every day.

And we believe every prayer mattered.

While May may be ending, the need continues.
Children still need safe homes. Families still need support. And communities still have the opportunity to step in with compassion and action.

Thank you for standing with us this month and helping bring awareness, prayer, and hope to foster care.

This journey is not easy.

Children, families, caseworkers, advocates, and caregivers all face moments of exhaustion, discouragement, and uncertainty.

Today, on the final day of Foster Care Awareness Month, we’re praying for encouragement and perseverance for everyone involved.

Because even in difficult seasons, hope remains.

And even after this month ends, the need for prayer, compassion, and action continues.

Father, encourage and strengthen everyone impacted by foster care. Renew their hope and help them keep moving forward with courage and perseverance.

🍋 Summer days, lemonade stands, and kind hearts! 🍋

These two young entrepreneurs spent part of their summer day helping run a lemonade stand during the family garage sale — and chose to donate part of their profits to The Fostering Collective. 💛

We love summertime, and we especially love seeing kids think about other kids. Acts of generosity like this remind us that compassion and kindness for others has no age minimum or limit.
