• Spend intentional one-on-one time together
• Create opportunities for cooperation
• Model teamwork and healthy communication
• Stay calm during conflict
• Teach resolution instead of simply correcting behavior

What a fun morning at Popsicles in the Park in Mount Pleasant!

We loved spending time with our amazing foster, adoptive, and kinship families, building connections, sharing laughs, and watching the kids enjoy a morning of play and popsicles. Events like these remind us how important community is and how much stronger we are when we walk this journey together.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us—we loved seeing familiar faces and meeting new friends! We can't wait for the next opportunity to connect and make more memories together.

We are incredibly grateful for the generous gift that the Green Acres Kids collected throughout the week to support foster, adoptive, and kinship children and families in our community. Your kindness and compassion will make a meaningful difference in the lives of so many children and families.

We were also honored to have the opportunity to share about God's deep love for every child and how, together, we can help children and families feel seen, supported, and cared for.

This role will be instrumental in creating engaging visual content, managing communications, supporting marketing efforts, and advancing our mission to recruit and shepherd Christ-centered families for children in foster care.

• Design graphics for social media, events, email campaigns, and print materials
• Help manage content across digital platforms
• Support newsletters, website updates, and communications initiatives
• Collaborate with staff on campaigns, events, and community outreach
• Capture and share stories that inspire hope and connection

Chick-fil-A Mount Pleasant TX exists to live on mission – reaching out and feeding our community both inside and outside our restaurant. For our 3rd birthday we decided there was no better way to celebrate than to give back! This week we gave $300 to three local organizations that consistently reach out into our community to leave it better than they found it.

At Chick-fil-A Mount Pleasant TX fostering and adopting is near and dear to our hearts both through personal family experience, and through community involvement. We are proud to partner with our local Fostering Collective office, that is doing the work reaching out to recruit and support local foster families in East Texas.

The Fostering Collective team comes alongside those looking to impact the lives of children from hard places. Whether this means shepherding new foster families through licensing processes, or supporting active foster families through the trials of everyday life The Fostering Collective is there to help with a listening ear, or a need for physical support through their Collective Closet they have and do it all.
