GO LUNA!

Luna was named a 2026 national Children’s Miracle Network champion. In April, she went to Orlando for a network conference and spoke to donors who helped make her hospital stays more comfortable.

We are heartbroken to share the sudden passing of Mark Ross.

Mark, along with his wife, Julie, and their boys, were among the founding families of Tyler Type One.

Both Mark and Julie faithfully served on our Board of Directors over the years, helping shape our organization and support countless families in our community. Mark's kindness, servant's heart, and infectious joy left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He and his family have meant so much to our Tyler Type One family.

Mark will be greatly missed, and we ask that you join us in praying for Julie, their boys, and all who are grieving this tremendous loss.

📣 Family Support Group Update!

Our Family Support Group is going to look a little different this month — we’re meeting on a Saturday!

We know so many of our families are right in the middle of graduation season, and since our June zoo trip is usually so hot, we decided to move things up and enjoy the zoo before the summer heat really settles in.

Join us at Caldwell Zoo in Tyler on Saturday, May 30 at 9:00 AM for a fun morning together with other Type 1 families. 🐒🦁🐘

Because we have to purchase tickets ahead of time, please RSVP as soon as possible — and definitely by Thursday, May 28.

We can’t wait to spend the morning with you!
