What an amazing young man who has dreams and already knows his priority goals and ambitions. After being recommended by his music instructor, Linda Holley, who has played a huge pivotal role in his learning music early on, he has used skills learned to diligently practice continually to better himself as a musician. His story is one of persistence and determination, which is so inspiring.

I asked Alex once, “what do you want to do in life?” His response in kind was unapologetically stating a desire to become an accomplished concert musician. As he has learned valuable skills and training gained from an awesome music teacher, along with his relentless pursuit —it will no doubt take him far to accomplish his goal.

In some ways his determination has already allowed him to gain one step closer in realizing his dream. This is in way of recently having had the chance to perform at the world-renowned Carnegie Hall. A place where of course music excellence invites the talents of exceptional performers. Secondly, he has also been accepted to attend college this fall to begin studying music theory to further his career.

KATD over the years has been graced with so many wonderfully talented young dreamers and we appreciate the opportunity to spotlight their achievements. As Alex is another one of our achievers, we are excited of his being a part of Kids Aspiring To Dream, and to soon become a future scholarship recipient. We truly believe he will become a great musician, and make us all again so proud to have known him.
