Last AND definitely not the least...Taylor, Courtney, and Amy C are easily some of the best volunteers I (Eloise) have ever served with. All three are unbelievably dedicated to serve our school community well. They are diligent, thoughtful, kind, selfless, helpful hard workers and leaders! They are exactly who you would want in your corner or on your team. I couldn't have asked for a better executive team.

Taylor, you are such a blessing. So kind and willing to support anyone who needs extra help. You show up and serve with a smile! Your family is easily one of the reasons why Rice is as awesome as it is. I know that Rice will be in great hands with you as President next year! You've been a wonderful Vice President the past 2 years and I'm excited to see how you lead our board next year!

Courtney, you have such a heart for these kids and our teachers. You love others so well. You are one of the hardest working & generous women I've ever met. And you're a hoot to boot! I've really enjoyed working alongside you this year. I'm so glad your family will be here at least one more year because the Melsons have been such a blessing at Rice! You've served well as secretary the past 2 years and we are glad you'll be leading 5th grade activities next year!

Amy C, there are a LOT of reasons why you were voted volunteer of the year. Serving as our treasurer for another two year stint is such a gift. No matter the role you're in, you do it with such excellence. So many times, I've been so incredibly grateful for people like you that can do the job as treasurer and that you do it so well. You are a hard working, dependable woman of integrity and have such a gift for serving so selflessly. You are a big important part of the backbone of our PTA and I know everyone is grateful to have your family here for a few more years. We love serving with the Cagles so much!

For anyone who doesn't love back to school shopping for school supplies, you can thank Audrey for making it as easy as possible for you this coming year! She's been working hard to find out what each grade would like in their own school supply pack. If you want to take advantage of this service, be sure to check out the sale on our website before it ends! Thank you Audrey for coordinating this in all of your spare time (which is not much these days!).

Shayla did an awesome job tackling Reflections this year. She gave away the best prizes to our winners too! Very thoughtful and intentional. She and our awesome art teacher, Ms. Williams, did a great job inspiring our students to be creative in showing how "I Belong."

Kim may look like a familiar face to many of you and that's because she used to teach 4th grade math here! Even though she moved up to teach middle school math this year, she still wanted to be part of our PTA since her two kiddos are still here. Thank you for trying to get sponsors to help fund all we do here at Rice. She's also quick to donate items for our woot woot wagon and teacher appreciation events. She personally knows how important it is to love on our teachers!

🚨🍕 Rice PTA Marcos Pizza fundraiser was a success!
Thank you Rice Rangers for helping us raise over 900$ in our last restaurant night of the year!
Congratulations to Ms Frazier’s class for winning the Pizza Party!

➡️ If you didnt get a chance to order your childs box you can go by Marcos Saturday to pick up their art piece! They will toss the remaining boxes at the end of the weekend!

For anyone who has supported Rice at one of our Spirit Nights at a local restaurant, you can thank Casey McCoy for setting that up! It's a great way to get to know other Rice families outside of school, eat some delicious food, support local businesses that support Rice!

If you loved our spirit gear as much as the rest of us, then you can thank Gena for that! She LOVED serving in this role designing all of the shirts and it showed. She put a lot of thought and time into every item this year. She also helped design the 5th grade class shirts using all of their crazy slang! Don't even ask us what it all means! Her family has been such a blessing at Rice over the years and we thank her for all of her willingness to serve in whatever role is needed.

Casey Murphy has done a great job being our Homeroom parent liaison sharing whatever information needs to be spread to our whole community. She also steps in when she can, even while working full time for the county. We are glad for volunteers like Casey!
