SOCCER IS BACK! SEASON OPENER TOMORROW!

🎉 And this year is extra special — we’re kicking off the 50th year of Tyler Soccer Association! 🎉

For 50 years, Tyler Soccer Association has been bringing kids, families, coaches, and volunteers together through the game we love. We’re excited to celebrate this milestone with our soccer family as we kick off another great season at Lindsey Park!

Before you head to the fields, here are a few important reminders:

📣 BE KIND TO OUR REFEREES!
Many of our referees are young and still learning, just like our players. Please show them patience and respect. Remember: green patch = minor. Let the refs ref, the coaches coach, and the kids play!

📣 NO NOISEMAKERS
We LOVE hearing you cheer for your players! Please leave air horns, cowbells, megaphones, and other artificial noisemakers at home.

🐶 NO PETS AT LINDSEY PARK
Please leave your furry friends at home.

☀️ IT’S GOING TO BE HOT!
Bring plenty of water for players and spectators. Hydrate before, during, and after games!

🚗 PLAN AHEAD FOR PARKING & TRAFFIC
Opening weekend is always busy. Give yourself some extra time to park and make your way to your field.

👏🏼 KEEP THE SIDELINES POSITIVE!
Cheer. Encourage. Support. Remember, this is youth recreational soccer, and we want the experience to be positive and fun for everyone.

🗑️ HELP US TAKE CARE OF LINDSEY PARK
Please pick up trash around your sideline before you leave and help us keep our fields clean.

❤️ MOST IMPORTANTLY, WE’RE HERE FOR THE KIDS.
We’re here to help them learn the game, compete, make friends, build memories, and HAVE FUN!

⚽️ 50 YEARS OF SOCCER. 50 YEARS OF COMMUNITY. ⚽️

We can’t wait to see everyone at the fields tomorrow as we begin another season — and celebrate 50 years of Tyler Soccer Association!

Good luck to all of our teams, and have a GREAT OPENING WEEKEND! 🎉⚽️

WE NEED COACHES!

One of the most important parts of recreational soccer happens off the field: our volunteer coaches.

Every season, we are incredibly grateful for the parents and volunteers who step up to coach. They give their time, energy, and patience to help our players learn the game, build confidence, make friends, and most importantly, have fun. 🙌

We also know that not everyone realizes just how important coaches are when teams are being formed. In recreational soccer, players need coaches before teams can truly come together. When we don’t have enough volunteers, we may have to place players on teams that are still waiting for a coach. This is a common challenge in rec sports, and it’s why we are asking our soccer families and community to consider stepping up.

You don't have to be an expert. You don't have to have years of soccer experience. You just need a willingness to help, a positive attitude, and a desire to make a difference for a group of young players.

To all of our coaches who have already volunteered - THANK YOU! Your time and commitment mean more than you know.

And to those who are considering it: your team is waiting for you! ⚽️

Coaches still needed:

⚽ 1 - U5 Girls
⚽️ 1 - U7 Girls
⚽️ 2 - U8 Girls
⚽ 1 - U4 Boys
⚽ 3 - U7 Boys
⚽️ 1 - U12 Boys

Help us make sure every player has a team and a coach.
Volunteer today and be the reason a child gets to play! ❤️💙
