Behind every number - 350 dead, 1,400 missing - is a name, a family, and a home that once stood. We grieve alongside the families of Rasuwa, Gorkha, Nuwakot, and every community touched by this disaster.

We do not take this lightly. And we will not stop at grief alone - we will work together carry that same compassion into action, bringing help wherever it has not yet reached.

We are deeply saddened to share that Mr. Minho Choi, Representative of Good Neighbors Ukraine & Romania and former Secretary General of Good Neighbors Global Partnership Center, passed away peacefully in Romania on April 28, 2026.  
 
In 2011, he was ordained as a pastor. The following year, he began his first mission with Good Neighbors, and what followed was fourteen years of life given fully to others.  
 
2012 – 2016 Country Representative, Good Neighbors Myanmar 
2016 – 2020 Country Representative, Good Neighbors Nepal and Regional Coordinator, Asia  
2020 – 2025 Secretary General, Good Neighbors Global Partnership Center  
2025 – 2026 Country Representative, Good Neighbors Romania & Ukraine 
 
We are deeply grateful for his leadership, and we hold his family in our thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace, Mr. Choi. Thank you for showing us what it means to be Good Neighbors.
