Join us tomorrow for chapel at 11:30 a.m. as we welcome a special guest preacher, the Rev. Dr. Sherri E. Wood-Powe!

Known to many as Pastor Sherri, she is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church with more than 30 years of ministry experience. Since 1995, she has faithfully served congregations across the District of Columbia, Georgia, Missouri, Kansas, Maryland, and Oklahoma. A true trailblazer, Pastor Sherri has been the first woman and the first African American appointed to several of her ministry roles.

In addition to leading a church plant in Oklahoma, Pastor Sherri serves as an instructor in the United Methodist Church Course of Study Program at Wesley Theological Seminary, where she teaches Worship and Faith Formation. She is also a dedicated coach, helping clergy and congregations embrace their God-given potential.

Passionate about worship and life transformation, Pastor Sherri strives to live out Colossians 3:17, giving her best in all she does. She shares life and ministry with her husband, F. Douglas Powe Jr., and is the proud mother of Frederick Douglas Powe III. She also treasures time with her beloved snuggle pup, Smokey.

We hope you'll join us for this inspiring time of worship and fellowship! https://www.youtube.com/live/Vel0QmpeF14?si=NBIPP-pMN8EI0ivb
