As followers of Jesus Christ, we GIVE THANKS because: Our transgressions – our sins- are removed. Jesus’ blood was shed for the remission of sin. Remission of sin is a complete release from the guilt or penalty of past sin, and a total restoration to our former status and condition before sin entered. Remission of sin involves a payment in full, as if the debt is no longer owed. Therefore, remission of sins means that our transgressions or evil deeds are completely wiped away, that the slate of our past is clean and that our sins are no longer remembered.

I have felt the pulse beat of suffering humanity throughout our despairing world. And by the grace and power of God, I have been instrumental in persuading hundreds of thousands of wonderful people to believe on Jesus Christ. I have proven that there is only one way to evangelize our world before Jesus returns. It is to proclaim this gospel of the Kingdom with evidence – in the power of the Holy Spirit, so that it is confirmed by miracles. What kind of example would Paul be without healing the sick, commanding the impotent man to arise, and casting the devils out of the fortune-telling woman? What kind of “Great Commission” would we have without Christ’s command to cast out devils in His Name and to lay hands on the sick for their recovery? Remove these promises and these miracles from the Bible and what is left? Nothing more than another philosophical religion

In these many nations, every crusade we have conducted has been triumphant—from Estonia to El Salvador, from Nigeria to New Guinea, from Asia to Austria, from India to Indonesia, from Poland to Panama, from Eurasia to Uganda, from Brazil to Bulgaria, from Africa to Australia, from Kenya to Kyrgyzstan, from Europe to the USA. The people of every nation have responded exactly the same. We have constructed our platforms out on large fields or parks or in stadiums—out where the people of all religions can assemble freely. We have kept our message simple: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.Heb.13:8 Many tens of thousands of needy and lonely people have been saved and healed as a result, because the Jesus of Miracles has never changed.

In a recent crusade, a l***r was cleansed by a miracle of God. Her hands and feet had degenerated so that nothing was left but stubs. Also, the disease has affected her spine so that to move about, she had to crawl on her knees and stubbed hands. She begged at the big market gateway. She was instantly cured the first night she attended our crusade. The next day thousands jammed the streets, and the city was in an exultant uproar as Miriam Gare walked and ran (on her stubbed legs), glorifying God publicly. Her flesh was clean and pure again. We assisted in having her fitted with special shoes and the District Commissioner wrote to tell us that this notable miracle had caused the entire district to know that Christ is alive today. That is this gospel of the Kingdom.

Satan is your adversary. Demons are your enemies. They resent your legal rights over them and are jealous of your heritage. They will always seek to hinder your progress and cheat you out of every inch of your promised land. But, like Joshua and the children of Israel, you must go in and possess your land, without fear. You must recognize your enemy, spot him, study his tactics of warfare, and be skilled in ability and faith to drive him out. This can be done by reading and knowing God’s word.

World evangelism is the top priority of this ministry, both at home and abroad. Bringing Christ to people is doing the thing that is nearest God’s heart—the one thing Christ authorized every believer to do. When it is top priority, one invests more in it than in anything else; one allots more time to it, more energy, more plans, more efforts, more thought, more money, more of life. Taking personal action to share the Gospel of Christ with all the world is the one way that we can make sure that the blood of the unconverted will not be required at our hands.

When we believe that Christ arose from the grave for us, that by His resurrection He conquered the adversary for us – when this becomes the confession of our lips and we believe it with our hearts – then the word of God will be fulfilled in our lives, and through our lives, for the good of others. If we have accepted Jesus as Savior and confessed Him as Lord, we are a new creation. We are heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ (Ro.8:17). Sickness and disease can no longer dominate us. We have come to know that we are united with deity. This may not dawn on us all at once; but as we study the Bible and act on it, live in it, and let it live in us, it becomes a living reality. That reality is developed through our confession.

Soul winning is not reserved for missionaries, or preachers, or evangelists. Soul wining is the mission to which every Christian believer is called. You and I are the ones to whom this mission is assigned. It is our priority, our life, our passion. Too often Christians have been impressed that only professional clergy persons can serve as ministers. But Christ dwells in every believer by His Spirit. His Spirit empowers every Christian to be His witness. Every converted person becomes His mouthpiece. Christ wants to speak through believers. They are His witnesses. Millions of hurting, unloved, despairing people who would probably resist or resent the words of a clergy person will listen intently to an ordinary lay person who loves them and who is willing to share what Christ has meant in his or her life.

Many times, we have boarded a plane at some intercontinental airport abroad, soared off the runway, climbed to a great altitude, then looked back down upon the vast countryside. I have often pondered the soul winners we had encountered during our mission there. Before our arrival many of them only had a localized vision—limited by their cultural environment and by their religion. They had not reached beyond the borders of their city or province or tribe or nation. Most of them had never traveled or had access to libraries or reading materials that might have expanded their thinking. But in the course of our crusade and seminars, they had gotten God’s viewpoint of their world. Their vision was no longer localized. They had become concerned for the whole of their globe.

Christ visits the needy and uplifts the fallen through believers. He encourages the discouraged and gives hope to the despondent through human persons in whom He lives. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up the wounds of the suffering through ordinary people like you and me. That is why, although prayer is vital in the lives of believers, if we fail to do more than just pray for the unconverted – if we do not visit the lost and witness to the unsaved, then those people may never hear Christ’s invitation to be saved. We are the Lord’s interpreters and associates, authorized to represent Him in our world. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ.2Cor.5:20. That means that we are empowered to act on His behalf and in His name. We are to carry out His policies for people. We are not the ones to plan God’s day for Him. He plans our day for us. It is His embassy that we are serving in. He is not serving in ours. He is not our messenger. We are His.
