The SEG EVOLVE program continues to make a meaningful impact on students as they prepare to enter the workforce and launch successful careers. Through hands-on professional development, interview preparation, mentoring, and career readiness training, SEG EVOLVE equips participants with the skills and confidence needed to stand out in a competitive job market.
This year alone, 14 students secured employment opportunities as a direct result of their participation in SEG EVOLVE.
Beyond job placement, SEG EVOLVE fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication skills that serve participants throughout their academic and professional journeys. By challenging students to analyze real-world situations, collaborate with peers, and think strategically about their career goals, the program helps build a strong foundation for long-term success.
As these students begin their careers, the impact of SEG EVOLVE extends far beyond a single job offer. The program is creating a pipeline of talented, prepared professionals who are entering the geoscience workforce with the skills, confidence, and experience needed to thrive. The success of this year's participants demonstrates the transformative value of SEG EVOLVE and its role in preparing the next generation of industry leaders.
In May, the SEG Foundation gathered Trustee Associates and donors for a special call focused on SEG EVOLVE. The call featured 589 students from 112 universities representing 62 nationalities.
