SEG Past President John Eastwood has been a member of SEG since 1993 and served in leadership roles across quantitative geophysics, seismic imaging, and acquisition. He has received the Best Paper in The Leading Edge award (and Honorable Mention) as well as Best Paper from the Canadian Society of Exploration Geophysicists. He has five patents and numerous publications.He has given back to SEG in immeasurable ways, including as chair of the Development and Production Committee, The Leading Edge Editorial Board chair, SEAM Board of Directors chair, and North American Regional Advisory Council chair. He serves on the SEG Foundation Board of Directors.
