Today is Clergy Appreciation Day, and we want to take a moment to say thank you to every pastor, chaplain and ministry leader who shows up for people at their hardest and best moments.

Ministry leaders are taught to pray about everything, and that is right. But prayer is not a substitute for honest care of your mind, and pretending otherwise has cost too many good leaders their health and their calling.
