A couple weeks ago, Brinlee and Landon, competed in The Discovery Awards and had a blast! While our students may not be the ones headed to New York for the The Jimmy Awards this week, we want to encourage the students that are! Easton Wicks from Fort Gibson Highschool and Gigi Jenkins from Jenks Highschool have a pretty intense week ahead of them! Let’s show them some support and love in the comments below! ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Courtyard Theatre is proud to announce our first Vocal Masterclass on June 18th at South Tulsa Baptist Church!

Join us for an inspiring evening of musical theatre and opera selections performed by our incredibly talented and beloved alumna, Poppy Teague, alongside collaborator Valerie Fisher.

Poppy has spent the last three years earning national recognition through NATS, winning her category at the national level in both Freshman–Sophomore and Junior–Senior divisions. Her performance credits include Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte, The Queen in The Magic Flute, Gretel in Hänsel und Gretel, Cendrillon, Amahl and the Night Visitors, and Julie Jordan in Carousel. Most recently, she performed Poppea in L’incoronazione di Poppea at Berlin Opera Academy and will spend this summer performing as Die Königin der Nacht at Chautauqua Opera Conservatory.

Whether you love musical theatre, opera, or simply want to learn from exceptional performers, this is a night you won’t want to miss. Who’s coming?

One of our amazing alumni, Poppy Teague, is offering voice lessons this June! This is a great opportunity for your child to refine and improve their vocal abilities as audition season approaches. Poppy is the best of the best, and we are so blessed to have her here for a bit this summer! Poppy Teague is a recent graduate of Abilene Christian University, and she is moving to Boston this fall to pursue a master’s degree at New England Conservatory on a full-ride scholarship. She recently won the Schmidt Vocal Arts Upper Division and Texas Camerata Baroque Aria Competition, and received encouragement awards in the Laffont Competition Tulsa District and Opera Index. For the past three years, Poppy has won her category (Freshman-Sophomore and Junior-Senior) at national NATS. She cannot wait to talk with you about sheduling some voice lessons!
