Sometimes the biggest conversations with a child don't happen through words. They happen in the middle of play. It's through a favorite toy, a game, a silly moment or simply being a part of the child's world.
That's what makes play so powerful.
That's why we're so excited to share that the next Shining Light Conference is all about Play Therapy!
On October 9 from 8-4 pm, we're inviting teachers, therapists, families and anyone who wants to better understand and support children with special needs to join us for a day of learning with Dr. Ahou Line, a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, among her many other credentials.
Play therapy is a unique way to connect with children and understand what they may be communicating through play. What you learn can change the way you see your child, respond to them and connect with them at home.
Come learn something new, enjoy great food and spend the day with a community of people who are passionate about enhancing the lives of the children around them.
