Family & Children’s Services restores children’s well-being, heals victims of abuse, strengthens individuals and families and provides hope and recovery for adults suffering from mental illness and addictions. d the way as a major safety net provider to ensure that low-income at-risk children, families and individuals with a variety of emotional, behavioral and family problems have a place to turn for professional help. If untreated, these problems can lead to family breakdowns, divorce, child abuse, trauma, school dropout, financial instability, depression, suicide, impaired functioning, mental illness, hospitalization, addiction, substance abuse and imprisonment.
