Family & Children's Services Careers FCS is OK's largest outpatient community mental health center with over 1,000 employees. Be our next great hire!

We partner with universities for field placement internships and practicums for undergrad and grad students completing degrees. Family & Children’s Services restores children’s well-being, heals victims of abuse, strengthens individuals and families and provides hope and recovery for adults suffering from mental illness and addictions. Since 1921, Family & Children’s Services (FCS) in Tulsa has led the way as a major safety net provider to ensure that low-income at-risk children, families and individuals with a variety of emotional, behavioral and family problems have a place to turn for professional help. If untreated, these problems can lead to family breakdowns, divorce, child abuse, trauma, school dropout, financial instability, depression, suicide, impaired functioning, mental illness, hospitalization, addiction, substance abuse and imprisonment.

We're excited to announce that today, Family & Children's Services is expanding behavioral health care to Cleveland County at the location formerly known as Central Oklahoma Community Mental Health Center. Awarded to FCS by the State of Oklahoma, this location is the nation's first federally funded community mental health center following the 1963 Community Mental Health Act signed by President John F. Kennedy. By bringing this location into the FCS family, we're increasing access to care and strengthening support for individuals, families, and communities in Norman.
