The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Final Leg Team is making its way to deliver the Flame of Hope to the Special Olympics USA Games in Minneapolis.

We are proud to have Poteau Police Department Sgt. Gary Hecht, representing the LETR volunteers across our state who support Special Olympics Oklahoma every day!

Sergeant Gary Hecht from the Poteau Police Department has joined over sixty Law Enforcement Torch Run Volunteers and six Special Olympics athletes as part of the Final Leg Torch Run to the Special Olympics USA Games in Minneapolis.

These men and women will carry the Flame of Hope across Minnesota before delivering the torch to begin the games this Saturday evening. Follow Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics to stay up to date with Sgt. Hecht’s journey!
